    Should google news become opt-in, all the (crappy) sources not willing to evolve from their old dying business will just disappear from there. I am sure there will be plenty of other (probably more) interesting stuff willing to take a share of the visibility.

    Lots of plastics can also be generated from "bio" sources. Just google around and you should see thousands of articles about the subject.

    If the whole satellite is dedicated to braodband access, then they probably mean 100Mb for each person
    That said, it shouldn't prevent them from overselling the resources (could climb as far as 100 times the initial bandwidth)

    To give you an idea a (KU-band/DVB) transponder capacity is typically between 20-40Mbps, with 20+ tp per sat.

    Sure, CGI dates back to 1993.

    In the old days of the web server side scripting was almost exclusively performed using a combination of C programs, Perl scripts and Shell scripts using the Common Gateway Interface (CGI).

    On the other hand, aware Windows users will re-download FireFox every time that icon in upper right corner of the browser flashes.
    IIRC, These downloads have no effect on the counter. That said, it doesnt make the download count much more useful.

    The smartchard system is widely in use in belgium and luxembourg, maybe in other EU countries also but I dont really know or care.

    We have a smartchip on the CC and must enter a PIN code (the signature equivalent) when making a purchase.
