Your best option is to get a SIP ATA (analog telephone adapter) that has a router built-in. I have personally used a Grandstream 486,and they work great. Vonage uses SIP and I have read (but never tested myself) that you can use any SIP compliant device with it. The difference between Vonage's ATAs and others' like Grandstream's is that Vonage's are locked down to only work with Vonage.
So you would go from your DSL/Cable modem to the ATA/Router then to your Wireless/LAN access point or switch. If you would prefer to still use your wireless router for everything you could set it up in a DMZ on the ATA and put the ATA on a different subnet than the wireless router.
They focus on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 because they account for so much revenue. According to NPD the Xbox 360 had six out of the top ten selling games last month. Also according to NPD, 60% of all console game revenues have been spent on the Xbox 360 since it launched. Who cares (in the business world) if people are buying PS2s now and only buy used games? The PS2 isn't driving anything. It doesn't even have a single game in the top ten for the last year. In the end, console gaming is about selling games, and the attach rate on the PS2 is ridiculous.
Actually, if you are on Windows or OS X try out a different Microsoft utility called FolderShare (http://www.foldershare.com). It is a program that will keep folders on 2 (or more) systems synchronized at all times. It call intelligently figure out if you are on the same network and transfer locally, but it will also sync over the internet if they are both connected. I have been using it for a couple of years now, and it is great; it just works.u

Hate to say it, but people are now realizing what it is like to not own the music you paid for. Apple owns and controls your tunes. This is why DRM is bad. Fortunately some people still believe in DRM-free music http://www.mp3tunes.com/.
Somewhat Misleading? Try completely misleading. One-click and a confirm and they are all gone. The post should really be updated to correct that.
This happened to me with Comcast twice actually. Funny thing is, they never fixed my problem. http://pseudosavant.com/blog/2008/04/08/its-comcrapstic-my-comcast-tech-support-story/ http://www.techconsumer.com/2008/04/07/comcast-rewards-you-for-complaining-publicly/#comment-3615
