Windows does have a TELNET server; it's disabled by default in Windows XP Pro SP2, & I can't speak for any other version, or XP Home (I'm not sure whether that really counts as another version - it's just Pro without some stuff). No inbuilt SSH etc. though.
It does have a secure connection protocol, Remote Assistance (or it's supposed to be secure, dunno if it's buggy), but by default you have to send an invitation from the requesting one & even then it requires input. So that's really all it's good for, assistance. No good as a replacement for SSH.
Actually, a googolplex is the number written as a one followed by a googol of zeros, & a googol is the number written as a one followed by one hundred zeros. So it's 10^googol, or 10^(10^100).
The ambient light does have an effect - ever looked at the stars for a long time, out away from the lights of cities? What you're looking directly at has more colour, but isn't as bright. Colour is percieved by whatever part of your eye sees what's right in front of you, intensity is noticed in your peripheral vision.
Opera & Firefox are the best known of the browsers most likely to get it the most correct. IE is rubbish at web standards, it took years too long to even get CSS1 right. Konqueror/Safari are too small & unknown, though KHTML (the rendering engine they share) is also really good. It actually implements some of CSS3.
So Opera & Firefox are the ones everybody thought would get closest.
On another note, somebody else earlier got it right: DUH! As if anyone was going to pass! It was written to test every bit of CSS2, & noone implements all of that; just like the original Acid test did for CSS1.
Unless of course, you have no ethical problem with illegaly copying software, in which case you might as well get Photoshop for your l33t h4x0r graphics.
This is so annoying... why do people link idiots who type crap about how they're 133t h4x0rs with software theft? Where's the connection? Many people steal software, IMO, & many tiyp lik ths. But never can you assume from one that the other applies. Sure, it's prob'ly common for h4x0rs to steal their software, but the other way round isn't some forgone conclusion.
The same people who think that way will probably think that my sticking up for the intelligence of those who nick Photoshop means I do too, but if so, their prejudice is misplaced. Not to accuse anyone directly, but I really think that half the ones who go on about "l33t h3x0rs" steal it themselves, & just want to make sure everyone knows they don't.
For myself, I can only say that although the rest of the comment was great, & I totally agree with it, that ruined it. You're a dickhead.
