What about receiving engine info, warnings regarding brake pads, fuel consumption, etc, etc? An established protocol that could link this to a mobile device would make sense. Not sure why this wasn't done with bluetooth ages ago...
Well the project sounds ambitious and all... but I tend to gauge the success of a company such as this by how cool their logo is. I think these guys are going to have a great future. Anybody else as shallow as me?
Could I trouble you to provide a bit more ifo re: the Brooktree-based card? Im in the process of building my own Linux based DVR and have been struggeling for weeks with Matrox g450 etv vs. Radeon vs. whatever else. Finding a decent video capture card that works well with Linux has been a struggle. Thanks in advance.
How ironic that whilst/. suffered an outage, so called "overweight, old, balding dorks" strung together a nation wide real time voice net using hand soldered rigs, solar panels, packet radio, etc etc...

Just curious about that Debian scrrenshot: on my palm VIIx, the infrared port is on the top of the palm, not the side...
