Actually, now I know how this is done. Yahoo does not link to our band's website http://www.soteriosmusic.com/ , but soundclick instead. Simple. I only wish they'd start crawling the web and link to band's websites directly. One minor notice. Soundclick offers mp3's 128 kbit, from our site you can get ~192 kbit ogg's, under creative commons license btw.
I am impressed! I play in a band. When searching for us using google, all kind of non-related stuff comes out also (as expected, btw). But with this engine, it displayed our soungs, and to amaze me a bit more, it also knew somehow, that we are unsigned:).
Anyway, I welcome this new feature and hope it gets popular!
I would like to add one more thing: if you listen to the demo songs, Lola is not played by the Crazy J itself, but you can hear an electric guitar in the back.
BUT, from engineering point of view, I do have to give credit though:)
I saw this device at CeBIT this year. It looked quite impressive. I also asked Fujitsu that what happens if I cut off someones hand and try to authenticate with that. The answer was, that it wouldn't work, because you need actual blood running through the veins, otherwise the scanner does not detect any veins. I think that is an answer to Your idea also.
I don't remember having Gnome crash on me. To me the issue with KDE is that it doesn't "feel" right. It also is quite cluttered. Gnome is far more useable, atleast for me. And if you take a look at the interfaces, KDE mimics Windows, Gnome Mac OS.
aargh.... it does not matter what you use anyway as long as you're happy.
4 symbol PIN limit is bollocks. You can use longer PINs if you want: I for example use different PINs for every BT device + every pin is around 12 symbols. You only need to remember the PIN at the time of the pairing so it's simple also.
This sounds like old news. This has been around for a while: http://www.theaircar.com/
Some negative sides I can think of: 1) It's not that clean. The air needs to be compressed, but for that I suppose we can use solar power. It's not available everywhere but atleast it's an option. 2) Electricity in the car. You need to have lights, stereo etc. 3) Heat. I don't think that air powered cars can be used during the winter because of the heating. In "normal" cars, heat usually comes from the warm engine, but in this case... I ahve no idea.
Im not a coder my self, altough I hahe programmed in Java and in python, but I fail to see Python's advantages comparing to Java in an enterprise environment.

Check us out btw, the band's name is Soterios.
The band where I'm playing in, has licensed the songs under Creative Commons.

Dude, you're an ass.
By all means, I'm not the windows guy, but be honest for fuck sake.
When did Sarge come out as stable and when did Windows XP ship? Think about before you post that kind of numbers.
And kids remember, there are three kinds of lies: small ones, big ones and statistics.
peace,
voss
I would like to point out a couple of things, why this thing won't be able to play like a human being.
:)
1. Crazy J can't bend
2. Crazy J can't slide
3. Crazy J can't palm-mute

Good point, but bad example.
If you take out comments, which one is more easier to read?
I have nothing personal against Python, actually I can say that I am a fan of python, but let's use a right tool for a right job.
Im not a coder my self, altough I hahe programmed in Java and in python, but I fail to see Python's advantages comparing to Java in an enterprise environment.
Besides... wasn't Star Trek cancelled?
