I am a recent Mac convert, and love a lot of Mac software, especially iTunes. Despite this, I've never bought a track from the iTunes shop, and I find it hard to understand why so many people do, because the quality is so low.
If I spend money on a track, I expect it to be loss-less quality, or certainly higher than 128 AAC (which I know is fairly good), no matter how convenient.
