  1. It depends what the book's about on Publishing-Online or "Dead Tree" Format? · · Score: 1

Whether to publish it electronically, or in print really depends on the type of book that it is you wrote. If you wrote a book about pretty much anything involving computers linux, then yeah I would just go straight to online publishing.

However, if you are writing a real serious book, then the only way the book will become profitable, and the only way you may get some recognition for the book is if you publish it the real way, with a publisher.

  2. Stupid Canadian Geese on Rewriting 'Blame Canada' · · Score: 1

I think we all should blame Canada. Thoes stupid Geese are so annoying, just like Terence and Phillip. First they invade our country without our concent, then all they do is crap all over the place. And while they're doing it they're going "Hahhhh silly americans and their silly american grass. [fart] haaahhhhh." All Canadians Are alike

  3. Amazon is just misusing the patent. on Bezos Responds to Tim O'Reilly's Open Letter · · Score: 1

Patent laws aren't at fault here. It is the misuese of the patent. Like Jeff Besos said, he just grabbed the patent before anyone else could. Great. Amazon.com saves the day from some company suing all these tiny internet startups for using one-click shopping.!!!WRONG!!! I don't even think that this whole thing is about the money. I think that amazon just wants to scare little sites away. "I AM AMAZON.COM. HOW DARE YOU TRY AND COMPETE WITH ME!".

This is NOT about the matter that amazon is suing Barns And Noble, but it is a matter of amazon trying to kill all small competition

That's Right, magnetic storage can't hold a tb of data. I think that they need to invent a new medium of storage....and fast. We're going to be out of storage soon. IBM, Maxtor, WD....HELP

  5. Re:*damn* on World's smallest PII motherboard? · · Score: 1

Yeah, it is pretty small, but who wants the smallest motherboard. Mabey for a laptop, but for a desktop computer, I think the motherboards that we have are a good size, and they actually have and fit good compontents. For Laptops I say go ahead, get the smallest motherboard known to man, but for all of us human NON Bill Gate's, who don't have all the money in the world, get a real motherboard. You'll be much happier.
