I'm a programmer/analyst working for a medical program dealing with reproductive health. Most of our machines currently have boring names. I'm trying to get all the machines named after procedures and/or sexually transmitted disease...so far my two boxen are named PapSmear and Colposcopy(believe me...you don't want to know!!).

We do a lot more with it, too. It's not as though we are stealing energy from these places and that is keeping them from being effective economies. This is usually used to try to "shame" the US into using less energy, which would only have disastrous results.

In 1980, Ehrlich held that we were running out of natural resources, which, following supply and demand, should lead to an increase in their prices. The Simon made this wager: the price of any materials, for any length of time that Ehrlich chose would decline, adjusted for inflation(real terms). Ehrlich picked 10 materials for a decade. The loser would pay the difference calculated on a $1000 original basket. In 1990, not only had the prices fallen when adjusted for inflation, the had fallen in nominal terms! I believe the difference was $527.

You have to cut the RAD's any way that you can. You do get some more protection from staying inside than outside. How much depends on the material of the house. What else can you do at this point? Maybe lead based paint would be a Good Thing:)
