  1. BBC also han an article, with nifty pics too! on ESA Moves Forward on New Electric Engine · · Score: 5, Informative

Read about this on the BBC article, with diagram This morning... Sounds like it's greatest use will be in deep space missions. It still hold potential for other use if we can find a more efficient way to use it.

  2. Dumbing down for console? on Ask John Smedley About Star Wars Galaxies · · Score: 1

Hey Smedley: I've been playing this game since day one, and PvPing nightly for 2 years (Khyras of ATO on Bria). With the CU1, the game was severely slowed down and dumbed down. The same is happening in CU2, with only 3 specials per profession and only nine total professions. Now, 3 specials seems to fit nicely onto a console controller, as does the "Point and Click" Style of targetting. Is this CU2 an attempt to dumb down the game enough so it can fit on a console platform (XBOX 360 to be precise) and appease the console kiddies?

  3. Re:IF this does become law, THEN on U.S. National Identity Cards All But Law · · Score: 1

I agree, but I don't think this will realistically be passed. There is abuse potential, especially if the cards end up using a radio transmitter. Having us common folk able to read the ID cards is something I don't see the US government being too fond of. There would have to be some sort of encryption algorithm, and it's only a matter of time before someone resourceful finds a way to crack it.

  4. Who's idea was it to meet? on AOL Monitor Accused of Luring 15-Year-Old for Sex · · Score: 3, Interesting

In the article it says " They Agreed to meet." If it was her that suggested they meet, this lawsuit will go nowhere. If he suggested it, there might be trouble for AOL. It will be interesting to see how they try to prove this, if there isn't an original e-mail lying around in someone's inbox. Welcome to he said, she said, the legal version
