Excuse me but why should I care about compatibility with MS OOXML?
I'm a writer who's used StarOffice 5.2 and its.sdw format for like 6 years after having to leave my Amiga and FinalWriter. I've been slow to transition to OpenOffice and.ODT, and haven't made the leap with my novels, But I've been laying out my church's newsletter with OpenOffice and made it clear any submissions that won't open in OO will be returned.
Perhaps they have been hounded so much as being politically incorrect that they are afraid of being attacked.
Or perhaps there is just a guy with a doggie...

I still do level 2 support for Earthlink.
Officially they support setting up a dialup connection on Lindows/Linspire (and there is a okay virtual app on how to do it) and for the other distro's just give connection and email settings.
Hearing this news (which they didn't bother to tell us about) on one hand I spend a lot of time explaining why their new Win Xp computer is overrun by spyware and wishing I could send them out a knoppix cd,
Then on the other hand I'm thinking oh my god, Im gonna be getting all those calls as the india techs will have no clue about linux ( they can barely handle an XP no browse)!

I just want to point out that a M240 with the gas regulator set on the lowest setting (about 650rpm), firing for 10 seconds would be over a 100 rounds (half of a 200 round belt box)
