you're totally right. the "i want it now" instant gratification desparation of our society (and i'm not saying i'm not one of them, i think we all are, who wants to wait?) is finally affecting things on a broader spectrum. It isn't jsut that you can find out anything you want, and you can do it fast, but you can do it much more simply.
I just used it and it's brilliant. No waiting for a site to load, then enter relevant info to find showtimes, just bang and you have your info. nice and simple, just as google does best.

XBOX jumped the gun on releasing this bad boy, while PS3 and Revolution sit back, jack their tech and find little things to beat it in the year or so that they have left to tweak... 360 was probably some clever egomaniacle quip for running circles around the competition, but i think it's going to end up standing for MSX being left in the dust spinning their wheels... Hell, a few mods and add-ons and the PSP competes completely with the thing.
So does this mean my grandmother might now realize that AOL isn't the only way to access the innanet? You think maybe I can convince her that paying 25 dollars a month for something AOL now offers for free is idiotic? You think maybe AOL will stop shoving itself down the publics throat? No, wait, this is just another way to get more morons to pay extra for their services... American public hears the words free and they will pay anything for it...

I will see III, and I've read a ton of the after stories, but that Bantha fodder known as Episodes I & II will never look like anything more than jacked up versions of the Ewoks and Droids cartoons and all the sale-ability of Jedi.
