You're right. I did forget business taxes.
As for "average Democratic [constituent]" you might want to leave it as "average [constituent]". I don't know of any information offhand which demonstrates republicans are more likely to be small business owners or vice versa. I could be wrong, I've only done a few quick searches on the subject this morning.
Listing everything out as you have done makes the situation look much worse than what actually occurs. I've taken the liberty of consolidating the above in to the various tax categories thus putting this into a much more realistic light.
All fall under sales tax:
I get taxed when I buy materials to build a shop.
I get taxed on the goods I purchase to sell in the shop.
I get taxed on the goods I sell to others.
I get taxed on the heat in the shop.
I get taxed on the water I use in the shop.
I get taxed on the power consumed by the shop.
I get taxed on the suppliments that I feed the horses.
I get taxed on the fee for delivery of the hay I bought.
I get taxed on the hay I buy to make up the difference in what I cant grow on my own.
I get taxed on the materials to build the hay barn.
I get taxed on the work vehicles I purchase.
I get taxed on the fuel for my business vehicles (tractors, trucks, trailors).
I get taxed on the old vehicles I sell to replace.
I get taxed on the vet bills for the horses.
I get taxed on the services of the farrier.
I get taxed when I charge someone to board their horse.

I would love to see a live action version of this manga made however, anything less than an R rating is going to be doing the series injustice. Part of what makes the books so compelling is the disregard for the body so long as the mind survives. You can't tone down the violence and expect for it to be the same.

That is exactly the point. I work in advertising/marketing as a web designer and, honestly, as much as I would love for people to see the work I've done, when I'm browsing around online there are much more important things for me to looking at then ads.
Thankfully I haven't had to produce too many of those over the years and, quite frankly, we all know pages load faster when they don't have to ping some other server to get the advertisement.
Ok, the US put a man on the moon in a really short span of time. We even got a whole flurry to repeat the trip in the following years. So why is it that we can't seem to get anything done with that level of efficiency again? Yes I know there is the lack of money which is a huge problem but you might think that NASA would spend what they could on getting someone exceedingly charismatic to work Congress for the dough.
If NASA were to start hyping themselves up again (and not relying on past glories), we could really start to see some great achievements coming out of those brilliant people again.
Which brings us to China. This new endeavor is a point of pride for the country and its government much like it was for us 40 years ago. I'm actually going to root for China in the hope that it will get we Americans to start looking back into space.
I love your completely unqualified reasons for OS X sucking. I mean, the depth and the logic is so immense it floored me. With an argument like yours, I now know I was foolish for embracing Apple. Time for me to make the switch to PCs.

My point is that a lot of customers are lower-middle class who are spend happy on credit they can't support. This is a major problem is North America, and companies can't help but to take advantage of that. You're telling me companies should be responsible for the self control and fiscal responsibility of the individual? Sorry but if someone puts themselves in a bad financial position through unnecessary "for me" purchases, they have no one to blame for themselves. Proper budgeting, hell even SIMPLE budgeting, should be something we teach our kids in school from early to out.
This is one of the standard/. argument why copying music/video/software is not theft. (I realize you are not making the argument here) I think it is wrong - even if you could magically replicate a Ferrari - the creator of the original has not been compensated for his work in creating it - and so suffers a loss. That to me is theft. Now what if I were to faithfully recreate the car out of parts I have at my disposal? Looks, runs, and sounds just like it but isn't. Is that still theft?

You are absolutely right and, if you've been following the all the cases the RIAA has been bringing before judges, you'll see that even if Trent gives the public permission, he doesn't have the authority to do so. Said permission could ONLY come from the record label and we all know they won't be doing that any time soon.
They can point out constitutional problems and still decide to vote for it knowing it can be overturned; sounds like a whole lot of political "I need something for my re-election" garbage. I imagine the exceedingly gross penalty stands for nothing more than a Get Tough (tm) on non-crimes stance.
Honestly, what is happening in this country where we've lost sight of what really matters?
