oh wow hey....MAYBE...all of this MS Marketing Blitz is because E3 is this week and MS has gotten an early start.
Expect to see a lot of E3/Gaming related posts this week seeing as it's the biggest gaming-related convention of the year.
Oh, and maybe look into some anger management courses, or get laid or something, you seem tense.
erm...the current pc's are definetely outstripping the current gen consoles by far, but the next-gen ones will be leapfrogging them in performance, for the time being at least. The main reason that consoles up till now have remained fairly low res is because most tv's up till now have only been about 500 lines of resolution or so max. With HD becoming much more common that is changing very quickly. Also CRT's do absolutely nothing with regards to Anti-Aliasing.
Since you obviousily haven't read any of TFA's on the xbox 360 I'll fill you in. M$ is requiring that ALL games made for the system support HD AND FS AA, so if you play the game on a HD-capable TV it will look as good as it can.
Sure pc's will still be capable of higher resolutions but with HD tv's the way they are now text is easily readable even at a small size on them, I still wouldn't want to do word processing on it though.
