I hold a similar view to a friend of mine, if technologicaly advanced aliens landed here, it would scare the crap out of me. Many think they would be benevolent. These people think aliens will be like Ewoks, friendly, happy-go-lucky little aliens. My friend and I think they would be more like Gungans who use Earthlings as lab mice, food additives, or just something fun to annoy.
If basing Earth sociology and how it has progressed since our civilization began on a Star Wars like galaxy...I must say that in the last 4000 years of recorded history there has been, what..less than 200 years of peace? (non consecutive of course)
