VB.NET background compilation is greatly optimized in VS 2005, and the SourceSafe that ships with VS 2005 is quite a bit superior to previous releases as well.
You could write VS plugins ever since VS.net(2002), it's just much easier now, and has support within the IDE (via templates) now.
Note: You could probably write plugins for older VS, although I'm uncertain.
Didnt ISC release a warning to stop using forwarders on BIND4/8 several months ago? Guess it'll take a major attack, in which thousands of people lose personal information, for people to act on the warnings.
Yeah, I thought they meant that ecomm sites were actually editing the input of users to be something other than what the user stated. Guess I'll set my tinfoil hat down for now.
Had you read the parent before you read my post, you would have understood the reply.
I feel sorry for him, as mommy still can't conduct normal conversation without going off-topic, on a pro-linux spiel full of baseless insults and overall ignorance. Best of luck.
Might have something to do with your cookie settings, or browser version?
It's same speed as google for me, using Firefox 1.0.6, both load in ~1.5 seconds
Did you happen to notice that neither have anything to do with linux, or BSD? Get a little reading comprehension you dolt. I won't call your parents to tell them how much you're cursing online, so you don't need to hide behind anon.
I agree completely, I'll enjoy the upcoming Zelda title the same way I enjoyed Zelda and the Adventure of Link the first time I played them on the NES.
And on the 3rd party argument, I love that Nintendo doesn't trade quality for quantity. I may only have a handful of games for my gamecube, but each of them is a unique experience that I enjoy playing over and over.
If everything could ultimately be tracked back to you eventually, things like spamming, virus distribution, defamation, on-line fraud, and numerous other harmful behaviours would be dramatically reduced. You could improve a lot of people's lives here.
Until someone creates a worm that propogates those things, through your PC, without your consent.
The horrible thing is, MS has to do this so *company name* won't come along in 6 months and do it to them. I hope MS tries this for thousands of other small features. Defensive patents like these might finally help the industry realize how silly software patents are.
Besides, the patent only covers 19x19 pixel PNG emoticons in an IM client, which work somewhat like AIM's.
The Republican party is trying to replace a moderate swing voter with a staunch conservative, one that assisted Bush in winning (or as some like to call it, stealing) the 2000 election.
Sounds like your main news sources are Fox News and the Republican National Committee.
Of course it has advantages, but little compares to the reach and speed of the internet. I'm not saying that HAM radio shouldn't be used anymore, I was merely commenting on the slightly exaggerated importance of it.
This is 2005, not 1995...
The internet is available in much of the world now. It might not be fast, but it's there. We have multi-redundant backbone networks, and we're very slowing working towards killing broadcast TV.
And speaking of Sept 11... temporary cellular installations and backup telephone networks made a huge impact on the communications. 911 never went down, and internet access was not badly interrupted.

Haha, this one deserved the mod points, parent is ignorant.
You forgot to praise linux, A- for effort though.

I think his concern was more about the download time for several GB than disc media.

The question:
- who spends money on microsoft products?
My answer:
- People who prefer updates for their OS?

Took the same amount of time for start.com to load as google.com/ig, for me at least.
Thanks for the link, didn't have this one bookmarked.
Sure, news about stuff like linux, google, ..linux...
The rendering engine will have full CSS/2 support.

Lesson learned for Borland, huh?
Am I alone in feeling that we haven't even used hubble to the fullest extent of its abilities? Not sure why this is a priority right now.
A defensive patent can be interpreted in more than one way, as it is simply another buzzword. In theory, all patents could be defined as "defensive".
Either way, this just seems like Microsoft attempting to increase their patent portfolio.

Wow, people still think Iraq was in any way tied to the attacks of 9/11?
Do us a favor and get informed, also in free e-book.
During the dispute over the 2000 presidential election, Roberts was part of a team of Republican lawyers and former Supreme Court law clerks who may have assisted the Bush-Cheney campaign.

Where are the +mod points when you need them.
