  1. Just take them out. on Adult Site Sues Google, Google Compared To MS Again · · Score: 1

Google could just take them out of all search results, and after the initial promotional rush generated from the lawsuit, they would stop getting traffic, and die. If you don't want your pictures accessed, don't put them online and unsecured. It's their own damn fault.

Good thing I shop at Newegg... there's no sense in trying to committ fraud with online, they have all your personal info!

  3. "extremely heated debate" on Review of Apple's "Mighty Mouse" · · Score: 1

"The debate over one-button versus multibutton mice has become extremely heated at times and has roots going back for almost as long as mice have been around. Proponents for both sides claim that their mice are "easier to use" and promote productivity, although I am not personally aware of any extensive human-computer interface (HCI) studies done on multibutton mice that have come out in their favor." This is BS. I haven't heard any arguments supporting the one-button mouse. It's widely known that the one-button mice are inferior. Nothing against apple; even Mac owners I know dislike the damn things. The person didn't know what they were thinking when they wrote this section. An "extremely heated debate".... hah! "I am not personally aware of any extensive human-computer interface (HCI) studies done on multibutton mice that have come out in their favor." Why would a company waste their money to try to prove something that everyone already beleives? Are you aware of any studies that prove the opposite? Probabyly... because this is a biased article. Still, $50 is too much to pay, especially when mice that do just about all this are going for $15.

  4. Graphics cards on AMD Alleges Intel Compilers Create Slower AMD Code · · Score: 1

This type of warfare is no news to me. I'm sure many of you are already aware of such tactics used with graphics card. On several games (proudly sponsored by NVidia, Unreal Tournament 2004, Deus Ex 2, etc.) The gameplay is very laggy when run on a non-NVidia card. But on an NVidia card, even one of less processing power than the ATI cards, it will lag unbearably. I think the companies that take part in this should be brought on trial. They're trying to leverage their influence on developers to get people to switch to their products. Sounds illegal to me.

  5. Re:Why will I want to upgrade? on Longhorn Beta Begins · · Score: 1

Amen! here's to all those people still running 2000! XP blows. Although... when it comes out, I am planning to upgrade to Longhorn. In my profession I need to be up to date with that sort of thing. Hopefully it wont be crap like XP.

  6. Trying to fix things we don't understand on Space Ring Could Combat Global Warming · · Score: 1

No one's proven conclusively that global warming actually exists or is causing and danger to us... Imagine if we built this ring, and we were wrong abotu the whole 'global warming' thing... We might have just screwed up the whole equation while trying to fix it!
