Can't Kevin's terms of his release be constituted as cruel and unusual punishment? We live in a world that is filled with all kinds of internet-related devices and yet he can't touch them. I would go mad if I couldn't hop on my machine and surf the web.
I never understood why you would want 4 ports. 4-way split screen is ugly and usually drops the framerate of the game to unplayable levels. The only justification I can see is sports games...but that is hardly enough justification to promote spending the extra $$ for the ports. Instead, I believe they're concentrating on the two players/display scenario...and then allowing you to network other consoles to add more players. -Goth
I don't understand this...when did Sony ever release a solid release date for the PSX2? And if so, what was the date? Every rumor I've heard about the PSX2 was that it was going to be released in Japan around March 2000 and in the US sometime Fall 2000. And according to this article this is the same date. Sounds like Sega trying to throw around some FUD themselves. Good for them...it keeps the video game industry on its toes:-) -Goth
I walked into Best Buy in Syracuse, NY (not the largest city in the world) and there were at least 20 copies of the CE sitting there).
