I've no need to "back up" anything, because anyone who cares can check the posting histories of those whom you've targeted.

The pattern is easy to see, and your actions follow this pattern again and again:

-As long as you think you're "winning", you post as a "friendly" AC and flag yourself prominently as "APK".

-When someone who's logged in disagrees with you, points out that your "contributions" are not relevant to the discussion, or offers the opinion that you're acting like a lunatic, the attacks begin. Typically, you commence tracking your target's posting history and post attacks against them in response to every new post they make. (You even went so far as to follow several days' worth of my history and to post troll responses to a large swath of my posts, in reverse chronological order. Perhaps you think that disguised what you were doing, but in actuality, you just made what you were doing very obvious, in addition to petty, and a bit silly.) These attacks appear to increase in frequency and venom in proportion to the perceived vulnerability of the target. Again, these posts are AC but signed by you.

-When someone calls you out on this, there follow a string of poison-pen AC posts trying to discredit them. For some mysterious reason, these posts re-use your favourite catch-phrases and links, but conveniently omit any mention of the fact that they're (very obviously) being posted by you.

You tolerate no disagreement whatsoever, and you appear incapable of admitting when you've made a mistake--every one else in your world is always wrong, but never APK--and you go on endlessly about "beating" people. These are not the marks of an intelligent/rational individual engaged in civilised discussion or debate. What they are is pathological.

As for the smartphones, the entire idea is just stupid, idiotic nanny-state bullshit. The people suggesting such things should be required to wear a smart catheter, so their car can check their bladder level before allowing them on the road, and a rectal probe to make sure a bowel movement is not imminent.

Sounds a bit like keeping people from starting fires by accident by only giving them matches that won't strike.

He's going to go on with his life, and I'm going to go on with mine. I'm not following him around flinging shit in his face every time he posts, and he's not following me around flinging shit in my face every time I post. We don't constantly scan each other's posting history and troll every one of each other's posts. That's *your* trademark, not his or mine.

I just friended someone here today with whom I strongly disagree on most things. I still think he's wrong, but he also seems to have some character, and I respect that.

Whereas you are a stalker and a bully, you add nothing of any worth to any of the discussions you barge your way into, you're not even a very good troll, and therefore I have nothing but contempt for you. There is nothing at all admirable or useful about anything you've ever posted on this site, Ars, Wikipedia, or anywhere else that I've seen. You either have mental issues or are pretending to be someone who has them, but even if you do, I still have a very difficult time feeling sorry for you because you *choose* to inflict yourself on others rather than to admit that you need help and to get yourself some.

You barge into discussions with your off-topic hosts file nonsense, then you hound anyone who objects. Then you try to claim that they started it. In particular, you make a *point* of attacking anyone who says anything that might make them appear to be vulnerable. You did that to tomhudson/Barb over her sex change, you've done it to me because I mentioned that I've had issues with depression, and I've seen you do it many, many times to others, simply for admitting that they had experienced challenges or troubles in their lives.

That's just plain evil. If you want to pull that sort of shit, you should be on 4chan, not Slashdot. Why don't you go over there and see how long you last?

If you weren't such a fucking stupid, chicken-shit coward, you'd be a monster. For people who are easily intimated, maybe you do look like a monster.

When we bought our 3BR flat in 2010, we furnished it for about $4000. We've actually got quite a few compliments on it. Some things like the $50 floor lamps with paper shades have been or are getting replaced. But some of the stuff is quite good, like the couch and coffee table in the living room and the daybed in the guest room, and we will probably hang on to those for years to come. Our bed also came from IKEA a couple years before that--that cost me about 2 grand, and I still consider it one of the smartest purchases I've ever made. (Take it from one whose back learnt this the hard way--saving money by sleeping on a crap bed is just plain fucking stupid.) It came with a 20-year warranty, and shows every sign that it's going to last that long.

I have never actually been to any of their outlets in the US, but from what I've been seeing here, I tend to think that you guys must not be getting some of the stuff they stock at their big store here.
