  8. Last time I tried to send a pic taken from my mom's phone to mine via bluetooth, it required downloading an appity app from the appstore.Which required a password which scared her from doing it. I never did get the pic.

    Back in my day--when we walked to school uphill in both directions, and LIKED it--there was this thing... I think we called it "email"...

    I've heard thar we're not actually supposed to read the fine summary, but I did so anyway, and couldn't help thinking that a better title would be, "USB C Power Meter Helps You Spot Counterfeit Accessories While They Fry Your Device". But maybe that's just me.

    But 90%+ on the niceness scale.

    Interesting contrast with Sweden, which may not be corrupt, but let your Swedish be anything less than perfect, and you'll be treated as an outsider, no matter how long you've lived there (10 years in my case); in China, I find that my admittedly pretty horrible Mandarin is nearly always responded to with smiles and even encouragement. Make of this what you will.

    Folks could benefit from recalling what Anwar Sadat had to say about trusting Russia vs trusting China some years ago. Still largely true today.

    Not to mention Trump's "pay their fair share" rhetoric that makes it pretty clear that he's more than willing to throw NATO/EU partners under the bus for a few bucks, which is exactly why Putin is so absolutely delighted to make nicey-nicey with him.

    They've put numerous satellites--and people--in orbit, so no way they could take out Denver or Des Moines, much less DC. *eyeroll*
