    It is one thing to not actively support something, and on the other hand making sure nobody can do anything unless they're on a supported platform.

    It seems to me that at least here in Europe, ISP's don't seem to think that they can afford to drive away anyone not using '95 or '98. Many of the large ISPs publish all neccessary details, and as everybody is using PPP, it isn't a problem after all to configure the neccessary stuff--phone number, user name, password; and for Unix/Linux, default route for dial-on-demand, and NS address.

    Having written quite a few user's guides, I can say that FrameMaker does it's job, although it could be quite better at it.

    I think that, from a business standpoint, you really don't care for being politically correct, but simply using the tools that get the job done.

    The fact that ORA did fall for an NT "solution" however, is somewhat disturbing to me. I guess that everyone just has to make that mistake themselves...
