Even if they get paid big bucks to get the job done right, someone will always come along that can break what they've built. Nothing man creates is inpenetrable by man.

Cohesion implies working together, not control. The feminist movement is a bit overrated and over-utilized. The bots would serve the purpose of giving the men what they wish the women were (in many cases): vapid sex machines and pretty statuettes. A mere distraction as the tables are turned and vengeance is exacted. But what man would care, with his robot that never says no, and never gets tired, and cooks and cleans and lapdances with flawless precision?

Did you mean cohesive? No problems there, depending on your meaning, but I can't speak for everyone.

Not a liberal myth, but often a misguided movement.

That's it exactly. It's the marketing, not the actual product that has won people over. The fact that Windows is so common as a desktop platform, makes it even easier to market it as the best way to go; average America wants new things, but they don't want to have to learn anything new. If it's not intuitive, based on familiar things, it's very difficult to overtake what has already been established. The brand names alone can carry more weight with the public than the innovation.

Who will carry on the insipid machismo without a little procreation?

C'mon, if you guys didn't know it wasn't a real woman, you wouldn't give a crap, plastic or no. Couple eyelid flutters, a little bouncing and a come-hither look, you'd be tripping all over yourselves.

Consider if we do reach a point where the robot looks/feels completely human. You could have armies of amazon robots controlling half the population in any given country. I say "half" as an estimation--we female types wouldn't succumb to such trickery. Hmm... world domination with femme-bots. Now that's an idea.
