    But they all take the following oath that has nothing to do with the Executive. “I, , do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.” There is a distinct difference. They work for the federal government. They're not taking a loyalty oath to the POTUS.

    Well, they lied then. If Apple's prior idea of security was based on trust then it's not truly secure. A new design will allow them to say there was a design flaw in prior iPhones that has now been fixed. They will do this and sell a ton more because of the security.

    This story reminded me of a video I saw from Fractal Antenna (www.fractenna.com) where they improved the gain and SWR of a monopole antenna using a bit of fractal metamaterial they placed over the monopole antenna.     Unfortunately, the Android platform can become 'Closed' if telco's decide to lock in their own software. This is their choice to do at their own peril.
