    Don't know when it was added to 2.x, but I'ts been working well since at least 2.3, when I started using it.

    Also I don't understand what people are complaining about; in my opinion the 2.x versions work much better than the 1.4 ones ever did (including having enough functionality).

    I can agree with Dolphin etc not being that fast, but as for your requirement of files on the desktop: just right click on the desktop, enter the settings dialog and change to a folder view. Can't get much easier than that.

    In my opinion, there are a quite a few small things that annoy me, but the positive much are much more common. I think Plasma is mainly just plain annoying though.

    Unless I'm misstaken, it's the same guy that also made first implementation of MSN webcam features on Linux.

    I think it's quite a bit about the quality of your speakers. I couldn't hear any difference between the qualities until I got my $200+ speakers.

    Won't happen since, as far as I know, the Windows version of Qt3 is not released under GPL.

    ClarisWorks was the first application I learned using on dads Macintosh Classic, and I then continued using it until version 5.0. It has helped me with quite a bit of school work.

    And yes, I'm young.

    It's illegal to download as well as upload "copywritten" materials since 1 july 2005. As for providing torrents, it's still unsure whether The Pirate Bay will be to court for it or not.

    My first thought when I heard about Piratpartiet was that they had my vote for sure. However, after checking more specifially what they wanted to do, I have changed my mind. I believe in limited patent rights and so on, but not in the complete removal of it. People deserve to be paid for what they create. Also people should have the right to use other peoples creations to create new "improved" ones.
