RIAA Sues a Child

Upon noting the fact that the girl also was sharing songs, I realized something I've always hated about the P2P crapware, and that is by default most of them are automatically share the songs you've downloaded, or your whole library. Most lusers (especially today) are too dumb to a)find the preferences in a program, b) understand those preferences, and c) change those preferences.
More than likely, the girl did not even know she was sharing. The creator of the ghey program should be sued.
Stick to IRC or IM and just trade amongst friends using scrambled archive files w/irrelevant names... or just stop listening to pop shite in the first place.
Obviously he has not reached the super-user point of having 40-50 tabs open in several windows! I can flip through so much information so fast it is insane, especially since there is only one process started per window... can you imagine surfing 50 sites at the same time w/IE!? **CRASH**!
In fact, since I have not installed M$Office on this machine, and use FF 99% of the time, I only reboot about once a week, out of courtesy to my machine (it is still windoz after all). Whenever I have IE/MSO on a machine, it needs to reboot at least daily!
I have always entertained the theory that if you open office and ie, walk away for a week or so, you will come back and find your machine rebooted, bsod'd, or seized.;>
This is the one I'm waiting for.. some dude's wife catching him playing GTA w/the nudity mod getting it on in the back seat of a stolen ambulance and divorcing him for it IRL! What a world, what a world... maybe she should have been givin it up!
I think it is time to create a nudist colony MMORPG.. anyone got some time on their hands?
Excellent point, especially since Win2k is about to be on the unsupported list. If you are still running 2k, it's your own fault.. you may as well be running '95.. it's faster.;P
What really needs to happen is a reduction in human overpopulation, but I don't see that happening anytime soon either.
Are you blind or do you just not have any contact with the outside world other than/.? If you haven't noticed, the Masonic/Illuminati vision of getting the world to destroy the middle class and move into a slave/master world is coming, and soon. They are in the pre-phase of WWIII where they attempt to get the middle east to destroy itself and cause world-wide chaos where the only the strong will survive (and those weak they choose to keep around as slaves)
If I purchase some software, any software, I should be allowed to put it on any type of device I like. When I buy cheese at the store, they do not say 'you may only use this cheese with Wonder Bread (tm)'. Similarly, if I buy a music disc, I should have a undisputable right to copy that disc to my computer or whatever else to archive it and duplicate it in case of damage or loss.
Now that they are saying that hard copy piracy is the biggest threat (*sigh*), it makes me wonder why they never did anything back in the day of cassette tapes and double cassette boom box0rz. WTF is going on in this country? If I BUY something, I want it to be MINE!!!
And, P.S., Jobs did just about kill apple in the 80's because his marketting tactics suck, so then he went on and did the same thing to Pepsi before coming back to Apple and almost doing it again but thankfully someone stepped in and shut him up!
Long live OSX and FCP!! (now, if I could just get it installed on this #!*$ing Dell PoS!)
After reading here for years, this finally spurned a comment from me.
I love the Xerox machines here @ work, all nice and networked and whip out pages all day long with their little dropping trays so I can print out DOM/CSS/Snort manuals all at once and go pick them up later w/o having pages all over the floor.
However.
I also print 'fine art' (no need to discuss that) for gallery shows and sale. No one can touch the Epson quality. I've printed on a large array of their printers (including the first 44"!), and just bought a r2400. Which, thankfully, _finally_ arrived today and after four test prints I have rolled out several amazing 13"x19"s. They are stunningly beautiful. I have printed on a lot of dye-subs and even the ones you can send out to have prints made of do not compare (though of course it could be a lousy print tech..), but I have myself printed on dye-subs and Epson is totally comparable and easier to maintain.
As far as quality printing goes (for imagery, not charts and papers), Epson is _the_ only way to go.
For office/home/student use, get urself a laser from St. Vinnie's.

In ohio? Are you kidding me? The armpit of the mid-west? The only hot things there are the coney-dogs and asphalt.

Critical updates do not require validation.

Do you think it would be much harder to use the store bought version? Highly doubtful.
