And two are clearly RedHat and SuSE. Third.. Debian or other uber-geek version.
Today there are hundreds or thousands of Linux distributions. It is like hippie movement from 60s: every a**hole can make their own OS and put it on public servers. They got downloaded (new stuf!! check it out) and forgotten within week.
IMO they better apply for jobs in RH, SuSE and bring in their ideas, and help Linux (that matters) as whole gain share. With years things just are going worse: more and more "unique" distros pulling in different directions.
Quality over quanity.
RedHat makes money - small distro companies don't.
yeah, not all drivers are perfect. However, I have two nv cards, gf4 go and gf6 6800 ultra... and both are running on linux well with nvidia driver. It is also simple to install. There was bug with one series of driver and fc3, right when fc3 came out. It was fixed in next edition. FC3 used new interface called udev. Kudos to nv for making drivers work even on mobile chips! While ATi ones don't work out-of-the-box for even desktop chips such as R300!
So Turion is socket 754 CPU. It will work on desktop 754 motherboards.
And.. AMD Turion on same PDF has Thermal Design Power of 24W @1800MHz... why are oyu comparing desktop CPUs with mobile ones?
Ever tried to install new kernel RPM using different distro than intended? Number of failed dependencies ~ number of lines in kernel code.

TVs are for multimedia, computers just don't cut there. assuming you have 30+ inch TV and ssound system for it, what is Viiv going to give you?
That option requires DVI connection between graphics and monitor. Ifthat is satisifed, it should work, but again it is ATi (trolling)
they have "huge" mobile market. I've seen many Acer laptops with VIA chipsets that come budnled with S3 shitsets.
