EQ2 has the right idea. Two sets of tables, one for PvE and one for PvP. Anytime you introduce PvP into a single table system your just going to put yourself into a nerfing tailspin until you destroy the game at it's core.
I don't see the AC2 expansion as a way to milk more money. I say it as a last desperate attempt to bring in new subscribers. When that failed they had to look long and hard at the future and if it was worth continuing to pour money into a game that would, at best, wallow in it's own obscurity.
The cheaters, exploiters, macros, etc are something any developer has to overcome, not just Turbine.
WoW is top of the heap because of the Warcraft name and the fact it was released internationally unlike most MMO's. WoW brough many people to the MMO world for the first time and this is only good for the industry because once the shine wears off the new toy, they will move to other MMO's.
What a whine. Stop bitching and play by the rules you agreed to in the EULA. I wish they would ban more people for stupid names like CmdrTaco. It's a RPG, not Battlefield 2.
Why would you program on your gaming machine? Personally I keep them seperate.
I'm just saying if your not upgrading your VIDEO to play a game, what are you upgrading it for? To say one refuses to upgrade to play a game is oxymoronic since that's the only real reason (except maybe CAD) to upgrade video card. Without video games there would be no reason to every upgrade.
Last I heard it went to the big recording studios NOT the artists. And then only the Big studios. So it still goes to funding evil, even if its not the RIAA
I love stuff like this. 99% of all species that ever existed are gone. One day man will be added to that list. I love how man somehow thinks they can change the course of evolution or hold back the constant change in nature.
If a species can't adapt to the environment they go extinct. Welcome to evolution.

If you're not upgrading to play a game what are you going to upgrade for? To edit a spreadsheet?
