  1. wiki controls on Interactive Campaigning ala Wiki · · Score: 2, Informative

Public debate doesn't belong in a wiki. That's what message boards are for. The wiki is for content and conclusions made from the end result of flame wars or debates. Controls need to be implemented so the content is of good quality (like a rating system). Its the same reason Wikipedia is not considered a legitimate source of info.

  2. More women online? on Women Now Outnumber Men Online · · Score: 2, Funny

That can't be right... It's either: A) More bots posing to be chicks. B) More desperate older, fat and ugly chicks. C) Tranies screwing up the numbers. D) A scientific study done by a bunch of guys trying to get chicks to believe its ok to use the internet without the usual stigma being pinned to them so these same guys have an easier time finding dates and move out of their mom's basement.

  6. Non-Lethal Technology is New on Weapons of War Now Include Lightning Guns · · Score: 2, Insightful

It's new compared to conventional weapons. The problem most non-lethal technology is the fact that it's: a) Easier and cheaper to simply kill someone b) Bigger logistics footprint with non-lethal technology c) More energy required for effective non-lethals There is a demand for them, but the technology must first overcome engineering, legal, and support issues. As for the XADS, it seems nothing more than a fancy Van De Graaff http://science.howstuffworks.com/vdg.htm
