Try http://emotiv.com/ headset I'm sure someone could be more hands on and help write something to match her exact possibilities for communicating with this. Best of luck

Yikes, that is some scary shit!

  3. Kind of a scary subject on Insecure Code - Vendors or Developers To Blame? · · Score: 1

I work at a company that has only 1 programmer. Guess who that one person is? I am pretty good at clean code, but I am human... I have written so many tools and applications for this company, and there are bugs everyday everywhere. The management pushes me in so many directions that realistically its impossible to create great code in a timely manner. Now that I have so many programs to continue fixing, I don't have much time for further development. Of course I get the blame for how lousy applications are. I suppose you could compare this situation to a house maid. She makes you dinner with the chicken that your wife bought at wal-mart. The meat is bad, you get sick. Sue your maid? A little far fetched.... I tried

I love getting 'questions' from Romanian people on ebay when I'm selling something saying: "Can please you end auction early and ship product Romania me! I have wife, she likes fun games to play. We like product and offer good dollar!"

No it definately isn't. I would say its a great way to show kids how the legal system works.
  7. Re:Is this really slashdot material... on IBM Thinkpads now in Titanium · · Score: 1

I submitted the article myself, and I thought it was relevent as IBM Thinkpads have been black forever. I would say only people who have been in the industry long enough would find it interesting, and those people are viewing news on Slashdot. If you don't find it interesting, just move on to another article that you do find interesting. Slashdot serves over 1/3 of a million people daily! They can't possibly please every single viewer with every single article.

  8. Good ol' Winzip on New Winzip in the Works · · Score: 1

Yeah, the last time I used winzip was the last time I opened a zip file on an old beastly computational device...

Too used to windows default 'Compressed Folders', and when needing the smallest of files - WinRAR. Sometimes you just need it to fit on that 1.44!

Acclaim is a good example of this. Dave Mirra 3 is never coming out now.
