Or you could just do what many people do (and this way it also works if you go on a public toilet that is not a shelf toilet) and deploy a couple of layers of toilet paper onto the top of the water before you sit down to do your business, minimising any splash back.
I know of one game where if you manage to win, the game does actually reward you, but you still go down anyway. *spoilers* In Lufia 2 if you manage to take out Gades in your first battle, you get the Gades Blade which, for that point in the game is a pretty good item (You can even take it into the Ancient Cave, which is VERY useful). You still die and then get revived, but if you win, it wasn't a waste of time. Though, the chances of winning without knowing about it before hand are pretty slim, you have to have leveled up to a point out of the normal range to be able to take him down. It's still a little challenge and a nice thing to have if you can beat him.
Oblivion just seemed lazy with the large icons, sure thanks to the mod community the issue was fixed but I think as customers you tend to expect companies to put in that little bit extra of effort to make things nice. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case.

In order to break trust, you must first have trust.
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish
who thought that Rockstar should have been right on porting Rockstar Presents Table Tennis to the Wii.

Having a beard myself that's the first thing I thought. :p
Seems we exist in some kind of limbo.
