EULA is very clear on this. Would you like Apple spell it out in phonics for you?
You can not install Mac OSX on any non-Apple brand computer.
EULA is quite explicit.
You need to read dictionary more.
label; n. a brand or trademark, esp. of a manufacturer of phonograph records, tape cassettes, etc.: She records under a new label.
EULA is referring to the Apple or trademark brand.
On the contrary, "labeled with an Apple logo" is just as valid an interpretation of that phrase.
Besides, if you're using a sticker from the box, then Apple did make the label.
Except that in a dictionary, a label is defined as:
a brand or trademark, esp. of a manufacturer of phonograph records, tape cassettes, etc.: She records under a new label.
Wouldn't it be better for Asus to release low cost motherboard designed for Small Form Factor case like the Mac Mini. The motherboard would then have slots for DDR2 memory. Then come out with new SSD hard drive that can fit into a slot specially designed for the Asus motherboard and replaceable when it goes bad in 2-4 years.
In other note, the style of the case is beautiful. It would be nice if it would have Fast Wifi/Ethernet and HDMI/Composite Video out. Then use VideoLAN to stream video from desktop to Ebox.
Because they have this obsessive need to balance the budget, get a surplus (government has no right to make a profit), cut services to civil services (like healthcare and welfare), raise taxes, and cut military funding.
Don't take my word for it, look at Clinton's record.
If the Democrats were really economically progressive, they would be opposed to the sales tax. It's one of the best examples of a regressive tax out there. The income tax is a lot better at taking from those who can afford it.
However, as I'm sure others will note, Democrats tend to support sales taxes. New York is highly Democrat, and you see 8.75% sales tax. I still don't see the purpose of this.
Tax the money once, when people earn it. Tax it well.
Income tax is dumbest idea since the invention of fire.
Fair tax, republican invention, is the best tax idea.
Why, exactly, do you think that would happen? Do you think the millions of users have some kind of ideological vendetta against Microsoft? Wake up. If MS has half a brain cell, they will keep the services and web sites exactly the same, at least for several months as they figure out a plan to ease into things. YOU might leave, but Microsoft doesn't care, and neither do I for that matter.
Microsoft wants yahoo for it's user base and technology. Which is moot. The moment such a take over is completed, yahoo user base crumbles as people leave.
For example,
Flickr usage will drop dramatically. Some might remain, millions leave.
Yahoo! Groups groups will be deleted in the thousands.
And Yahoo! Mail usage will end since it just migrate to Hotmail, which no one will use or uses now.
myYahoo! portal users to 0 since no one wants to use Live.com because it is a shitty portal
In the end, Takeover of yahoo by Microsoft will waste billions of money and will be moot.
I, for one, plan to leave Yahoo and will request account termination if such a deal is accepted by Yahoo.
Dell shares fell 38 cents to $19.95.... as I said, In the end. This change doesn't sit well with investors it seems. And in the end, nor will Dell's customers. I just hope it doesn't kill Dell.com/open sells.
Not the same the investment in Apple was part of a legal settlement over patent infringement. One, $300 million was paid around the time Steve Jobs joined.
and two, $350 milion with Novell is over patent infringement.
I am reminded of the $350 Million that Microsoft paid Novell last year and must wonder if the 200% increase in sales that Novell reports can be linked to that?
Does anyone remember Microsoft's $300 million investment into Apple Computer, Inc back in the 90s? It is probably same motives then as it is today.
The only thing I really care about tomorrow is Google.com. I always expect something something funny from Google.I know of a perfect joke for them but they wouldn't do it.
Been there, done that, and I can't stand to listen to that god awful music for a SECOND TIME because I will shot myself if I did again. Serious, I will.
So this is why Micro$oft keeps pushing this downgrade called Windows Vista? Earlier this year, I finally upgraded my computer to Linux because I got tired of slow Windows XP.
You're right, i dont have kids.
And you should make/encourage them to watch Science fiction shows such as Star trek or Stargate. Kinda helps to instill the feeling of exploring the universe.
Awe, You saw right through me. I saw it as opportunity to lead mankind on a great and marvelous journey into the space. And no amount of danger would ever sway me from volunteering. Even if I had children, i would volunteer because in the end, they will also realize monumental step I took.
One large step for man (moon), one giant leap forward for mankind.
Those who hate big brother over your shoulder.. nows the time to bend over and moon the CIA/NSA/FBI. You know always wanted to do it. In the words of Peter Griffin, Come on, Come on.
Windows 7;
22 seconds to login.
7 seconds from login to desktop.
15 seconds to shutdown.
Ubuntu 8.04 (8.10 is full of bugs and unusable);
24 seconds to login.
9 seconds from login to desktop.
Using 1-one thousand count.

Now we must bring this case to America so we can use Google Checkout over Paypal.

Who should buy Skype? GOOGLE. It would make a good addition to Google Talk and Gmail.
We are Slashdot. You will be assimilated into the collective conscience. Resistance is futile.

I wanted more unscripted reality television... Damn it. Go back on strike writers.
