Just checked his twitter account (Kgreenbaum) and his last update (which was regarding this silly affair) is 15 hours ago. Since which he has been/.ed. His twitter is going to be megabytes of @replys!
back on topic... Since when was the right to free speech limited by the non-existent right "to not be offended"?
The £20 will not in anyway mean downloading music will suddenly be legal. It will just be another NuLabour Tax. And guess what Gordon Browns latest arsewave is? For everyone in the UK to have broadband. So every one will have to pay the new Tax.
Anyone know how much the recording industry have donated to the NuLabour party? Nuff said.
Oliderid, for most of Europe you are right.
I found Belgium's who could hardly speak English, but when we engaged in a transaction, they were tried to be helpful and polite. Same for the Dutch, Germans and Luxembourgers.
However, the French in Luxembourg were RUDE. And on more than one occasion later in the day, I had passed the same unhelpful rude French person, and overheard some acceptable English. They could understand me, just did not wish to help an englander.
I am not taring all of the French with this brush, there is the odd diamond in the rough, but the majority I have had the misfortune to interact with have left me with quite a bitter taste.
I love going to Europe. Particularly the Benelux area, and despite the language difficulty's we always manage to find some middle ground to communicate on. Sometimes using no more than pointing and nodding or shaking the head. Always friendly. Apart from the French.
I lived in Luxembourg for 6 Months. I can only speak English and Afrikaans. The Germans were polite and helpful. The Locals were polite and helpful. The French looked down their noses at me, refused to even speak to me because I dared to address them in English. Even my girlfriend who speaks fluent German got a monosyllabic response from the French - usually "NO!".
Take what you want from that, I no longer have any time what so ever for the arrogance of the French.
What is wrong with existing technology? Need power somewhere remote, why not a solar panel charging a battery? Plenty of power for LED traffic lights or whatever other uses.
This ramp will cost the motorist, In petrol, and in additional maintenance to shocks, wheel alignment. Plus from the looks of thing, the Tax payer is going to have to fund the installation of these menaces.
This is just another thing to make being a motorist slightly more expensive. And I am sick of it.
The pussy has locked his twitter account. Tanfastic!

What with NuLabour? Of course it is absolutely going to be used against political opponents. Damian Green MP watch out!
Is a book by Neil Stephenson.
MS is basically addicted to making OS's. But the market for MS OS's is dwindling.
Book is worth a read though.
Pray tell?
When I get this question, I usually suggest and f5 link controller ( http://www.f5.com/products/big-ip/product-modules/link-controller.html ) This is a pricy solution, but I would say it is best of breed for load balancing multiple internet links.
