And all the other stuff the US had first, that was just coincidence was it?
Yes. Same goes for the things that USSR had first.
Really though what the left like to call the traditional or nuclear family is nothing of the sort. It's an artifical creation put in place to give returning soldiers a place to go.
You forget the soldiers that return dead. This is the missing workforce women were set to replace.
You know your Rosie the Riveter quit her job after two weeks, right?
Who cares about one specific woman? It is only an anecdote, not data.
Read up on the events immediately following the 1917 revolution. They don't agree with your narrative.
Maybe you have read the wrong books then? In the USSR women worked literally everywhere, there were no jobs considered "too manly". In modern capitalist Russia the position of females became, in fact, way worse. But if you really want to know about things that happened immediately following 1917 revolution: USSR was the first country to legalise abortions. USSR had equal rights and women's suffrage starting with the first constitution of soviet Russia - in 1918. Compare that to the 19th amendment which is from 1920.
The thing is, second world war has slashed the soviet male population by a huge amount, thus after the war has ended there were far more women in the workforce than men. Actually, if I remember correctly then women were the majority (51-52%) of the soviet workforce for decades.
US had the atomic bomb first because USSR was busy fighting the Germans so nuclear physics had a very low priority.
Women entering the workforce had also nothing to do with the additional free time. It was just that many men were on the front and this had to be compensated for. This is, by the way, the reason why the gender equality was much more pronounced in the USSR.
And social safety nets were caused by the socialists - albeit indirectly. Von Bismarck introduced them because he was afraid of socialists and wanted to lessen the socialist parties appeal.
Here in Germany my energy cost is small fry compared to all other expenses. In fact, I probably spend more for hookers than for electrical power and heating.
I prefer to have my own washing machine, to be honest. So a coin operated one is out of question.
This is how I do it: I fill the machine, switch it on and go away doing whatever I have to do. When I am back it is usually finished so I can hang the clothes to dry on the balcony. I don't match socks beforehand. Since I live alone, one day of washing per week is enough, but if I have to wash more than one load - happens sometimes - I don't do it on the same day - there is no reason to waste a whole day with that kind of boring crap. In fact, I can fill up the washing machine and set the timer so it would start washing whenever it would be the most practical time.
16A is standard in Germany. Have just checked, the ones in my flat are all 16A except for the bathroom, the RCCB for it is 25A. At 230V that would be almost 3.7kW per circuit. I think only the water heater actually uses that much since I don't own a full size electric stove.
Why do you actually care how much time your washing machine uses? Fill it up, switch it on and do something else during the time. You are not a cat, you don't have to stay and watch it spin. European washing machines take so long because the detergents are much milder.
In the EU 230V outlets are standard (IEC 60038). 240V is UK (as always, they absolutely have to be different from everyone else) and Cyprus (as a former British colony). Actually, most of the former EU countries used to have the 220V standard, but it was raised to 230V so it would be more compatible to UK.
This was not the first referendum on Crimea, by the way. The first one was in 1991, with a similar outcome. In fact, Crimea has voted for independence several months before Ukraine did, but for some reason, Ukrainian independence was regocnised, but not the Crimean one. Truly, some animals are more equal than others.
Not really. Modern Russia is different to USSR in almost every way imaginable, including the things that were actually good. The only country closely resembling the USSR of old would be Belarus.
Well, in fact it was. For the majority of the population life in soviet Russia was better than in czarist Russia. It also ultimately lead to Germany becoming a democracy.
Look, I had a HTC Universal which was released two bloody years before the iPhone. It was, of course, thicker, due to it having a pivot screen and a physical full QWERTY keyboard. Just without these the size would be the same. But that HTC phone had a somewhat larger display (and with higher resolution at that) and an interchangeable battery and a SD card slot.
iPhone was a downgrade to what was possible at the time.
Meh, by that logic a commercial pilot license is superfluos as well, private pilot license should be enough to pilot a passenger machine after a IFR crash course since the basic skills involved are the same.
What about this?

In this case, the engine was not only cheaper but also better.
If I had that much to wash, I'd just wash one load every day, not everything at once. And actually yes, I switch mine on and go away.

What about cup ramen? In the coffee pot as well?

Solzhenitzyn was full of shit for several reasons and 60 million would be half of the population.
Well, in fact it was.

Nokian spiked bike tyres are very good. Even Continental spiked bike tyres are also made in Finland.

AMD has already sold badge engineered RAM some years ago. Just looked up, they actually still do
Sorry, but this is difficult to believe. iPhone specs weren't anything special. In fact, high end WM phones had better hardware.
Suits are the professional dress of, well, suits. If there is such a thing as a professional dress for an engineer, then it would be a lab coat.
It is kinda not completely wrong.
European Ford cars are very different.
So, marry a muslim girl and be an example for others then.

You must be new here.
Hate to rain on your parade, but Russia's population stopped growing when Russia became capitalist.
