To achieve a similar effect for every texteditor, you can drop a Shortcut to the editor into../Winnt/profiles/username/SendTo ( or wherever it is on your system ). Now, when you right-click on a file you can use Send To/Editor to edit it with your favorite tool. Whenever I have to use a machine for longer, I tend to do this at least for Notepad, if there is nothing better available...
