    Lamy Pico is the best pen I have ever had. It fits in any pocket and is very small. I lost mine several months ago and still searching for it :-(

    desktop users dont need to know they are running a yast2, suse, a kernel.....
    desktop user maybe are too dumb.

    Ever had to search for a missing dll on your windows and never found out what program actually provided that library?

    Linux for the dektop is not the product of one company and consists of many packages from many sources. When you need to install program X which relies on another program Y from 2 different sources and X complains it needs library libY, then you'll notice how important this tool can be.
    If all programs available on SuSE 8.1 originated from SuSE then we wont have this problem, and that what makes Linux different and powerfull, although still not perfect...

    I have been using webwasher since it was released for Linux. It removes banners, stops animations, filters cookies etc. etc. and it's free for personal use on Linux. So why should I pay 30$?

    Without anti-aliasing, arabic letters look very bad...

    More to mention is that Andrea Archangeli from SuSE was the first to get the machine booting, of course with the help of Compaq Alpha Linux experts.
    This machine is a new platform and you can't run alpha linux on it out of the box. The tsunami platform is the closest though. But the QBBs and the 100+ PCI busses :-D makes thing even harder. If you buy one, ask Andrea for the patches ;-)

    Care about Bogomips?

    SMP: Total of 11 processors activated (14067.70 BogoMIPS).

    Unfortunately with only 11 procs, but that was one of the first runs.
