voluntarily sharing with you Some want to download ONLY and not share. The only reason they share is because they are forced to. Try setting your client to 0 bytes upload (whilst downloading) to stop sharing and therefore becoming legal. You just can't do it because the software won't let you. Why is this significant? Because the software itself is forcing users into 'criminal activity'. There are thousands+ out there who want the product (like FTA shows) but do not want to be liable or risk liability.
Also the physical loss of purchased digital media is not the same as blowing up the lawnmower and having to buy another one. That's because of the nature of digital media. You can't replicate your lawnmower, but it is possible to replicate digital content so all of a sudden, the rules change. Those rules include 'leasing' or the right to use the software. Just because you pay for it doesn't give you full rights over it. If you want full rights, then buy the rights for it.
OED: The original meaning of the phrase beg the question belongs to the field of logic and is a translation of Latin petitio principii, literally meaning ‘laying claim to a principle’, i.e. assuming something that ought to be proved first, as in the following sentence: by devoting such a large part of the budget for the fight against drug addiction to education, we are begging the question of its significance in the battle against drugs. To some traditionalists this is still the only correct meaning. However, over the last 100 years or so another, more general use has arisen: ‘invite an obvious question’, as in some definitions of mental illness beg the question of what constitutes normal behaviour. This is by far the commonest use today and is the usual one in modern standard English.
Because I don't know, but isn't it common practice for bills to include riders or laws that are lumped in together? So unpopular or unethical laws get passed because they are included in the main bill? Is that what this is about?
Maybe it's there in case you need to empty the pool of water for some reason. Just connect a PVC box to it with a grate/grill on top. If you ever need to empty the pool, the water can be fed to the sewers. Otherwise you're going to have lots of acidic/chlorinated water seeping into other yards, destroying your lawn and gardens etc. A friend's above ground pool ruptured, wiped out a fence and demolished the neighbour's back yard.
The Historical Documents have the true story of a guy in England who managed to dispose of a number of bodies in acid, then poured the sludge into the drains. Worked well until the police found a partial hip bone that blocked the sewer.
I had a really helpful Indian/Pakistani/Asian guy from a Microsoft security company call me up and told me my PC was infected. I followed his instructions and he took remote control of my system to clean it up! And it only cost me $99.
It's also a matter of time. You don't want to spend days doing it, but I've also got some easy basic tools/practices that helps in the field. The most obvious is system restore if it's clean and available. Creating another user via safe mode and rebooting into that allows you to access the HD if the main user is inaccessible (some scareware does this). Deleting ALL temp folders including prefetch and IE temp files prevents reinfection on boot up. After that you can download MSE and scan to get rid of the rest. Hijack This scan for any weird BHOs and delete them. Rootkit scan. Remove any IE Adons/ActiveX/Toolbars and reset IE to default security etc. As for file type association stuff ups, most of the time I tell the client to re-install downloadable apps like their camera/phone software etc. Works 90% of the time and takes maybe 2hrs while I'm working on something else. Then I cold boot a few times into the main user login to check if it's truly gone. If the HD is truly stuffed, I recommend replacement if it's more than 2 years old or a full format and install if it's newer and that's another job altogether.
Thank you for all the responses. It is very interesting to hear your collected views and I appreciate them. Firstly, I do not have any issues with the Slovak peoples or their rights. My post was about contentious issues and possible Slovak government reactions to them based on practice So: http://www.foruminst.sk/en/66/visual_bilingualism/0/research_on_usage_of_hungarian_language_in_southern_slovakia/1 will give you a perspective on bilingual problems (English). Dual Citizenship: I do not have the time at present to provide links, but I know of at least 2 ethnic Hungarians where their Slovak citizenship was taken away because they applied and got their Hungarian citizenship. One was Boldoghy Olivér (CEO of Autobank) and another 102 year old woman that got some (Hungarian) press recently. This is discriminatory. The Moravian movement for cultural autonomy can be found here: http://moravane.eu/category/aktuality/
As for the Magyarization in the decades preceding WWI, was not just a move for assimilation as you suggest, but stemmed from the Hapsburg directive that the official language of the Empire be German. The Hungarians who already had Magyar as an administrative language from 1849 (previously it was Latin), thought this was idiotic. As they were seceding slowly away from Austrian domination and already had cultural and political control of most of Slovakia and Uzbekistan, did go ahead with this.
As for the Little War, the Nazi government did agree to the border changes based on ethnic demographics, but you are right that the Hungarians took the lands a few days before they were supposed to.
It is simply that the population naturally segregates as each nationality tends to live with their own.
With the average town population around 1000-1500 people, you soon run out of gene pool. Most genealogical research shows that racial intermarriage was common (pre-industrialization) within the confessions, be it Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic or Evangelical. In fact, most ethnic delineations in Eastern Slovakia are by religious confession.
As for the Hungary today, they have serious internal political issues and they can't help themselves let alone their kin in bordering countries. I've never heard of large-scale mistreatment of ethnic Hungarians in Slovakia, just a few bashings/killings by irate Slovak gangs. The Slovak government has a trick up their sleeves in that they will comply with EU directives only if 2 concurrent censuses (10 years apart) show a minimum of 10% ethnic residency. In other words, it will take 20 years before some communities get their bilingual rights. This is an eye for an eye attitude in retribution. That's why I used the word 'Slovakization' which is now considered to be politically incorrect. Now if you read a bit of military history, you will find that the Czech controlled much of Vienna's administration and I wonder what effect they had on the Empire, bringing it almost to bankrupcy building useless forts down south against the Ottomans.
I ran a manual aggregator service but I stopped because I got paranoid with all the copyright as I paid for nothing. The site was not set up to earn any money and users got what they needed for free. So this news is welcome IMHO as news is news and should be free, notwithstanding the costs that a paper forks out which is basically recouped by advertising and edition sales. I never felt guilty about that, just the paranoia of copyright. The Slovak model is interesting for another reason, that the newsprint media shy away from some of the real issues which are too hot to handle. These issues stem from Slovak government policy on how they handle their very close neighbours like Moravia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Exposition: The Moravians want their own government, the Czech are typical overlords and most of the southern part of the country aren't Slovaks but Hungarians. Even though these people are called a minority, there are many towns and villages that have been and are still Hungarian for a thousand years. Due to border changes after WWI (The Treaty of Trianon), most of Northern Hungary is trapped in Southern Slovakia. The end result of this is a nightmare for ethnic Hungarians who are forced into 'Slovakization', losing their identity and in some cases their citizenship. It's no at all rosy in Southern Slovakia:( So I reckon that if the Slovak newsmedia started to investigate how its own government's policies discriminate against minorities then those court rulings will be turned around pretty fast. It's something they do not want to share.
Pure bullshit. I have actually nothing to back that up, but the whole Dark Matter/Energy thingy sounds to weird to be true. More likely the physicists made some kind of wrong assumption early on, painted themselves in a corner and this is what they came up with. Same with the BB theory. They reckon that in the first few nano-secs there were no physical laws? Therefore the BB could do whatever it wanted to (if I'm allowed to add consciousness to that:) Forget rationality or believability.
I should be on the floor laughing, but I'm not. Watching Fox News (fair and balanced), The Daily Show and The Colbert Report gives me, a non-US citizen some kind of insight to the political machinations that all of you are bashing your heads together on. I don't blame you. It is all a bit psychotic. Unfortunately, the situation the USA finds itself in affects the whole globe and everyone is a stake holder and everyone should care what is happening and what will happen in the future. So the Republicans can't field a promising candidate, the congress is gridlocked, the US has 40% debt and the only breath of fresh air is Ron Paul who would really shake things up but is 'unelectable'. At this stage it looks like another 4 years of Obama in another gridlocked government. Maybe the lunatics have taken over the asylum. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRNYqsMIbg0
Like: "This is a Microsoft Certified Red Zone"? The fact that a 3rd party company finds it profitable to indicate safe and unsafe zones means that they see an unrequited demand for it. Sociology wise, the red zones are an admission that society has failed. The dynamic now would be the expansion and hopefully the decrease of time-stamped red zone areas. Ultimately we just don't know how pervasive the effects of this knowledge will be. Surely with real estate, but I can see other criteria like business, insurance, public transport and so on. Can even evolve into an Escape from New York scenario with walls.
There is actually negative evidence that has been measured. It is called Global Dimming. Global dimming effects are lessened rates of evaporation and cooler temperatures. Global dimming is caused by particulate matter from pollutants. So you could say that burning oil can regulate itself by some margin. http://www.globalissues.org/article/529/global-dimming
To Moderators. I called laejoh's bluff. I think his comment was a Monty Python reference about the Hungarian-English phrasebook sketch. BTW, there was no Hungarian actually spoken during the sketch.
They speak Australian English and no UK English or US English etc. There is a distinction. I am very surprised at why the Baa-rhainians want to speak Australian English? Must be because of the sheep.
From their perspective everything they have, what little they do, is a gift from Dear Leader, they have no idea what he has denied them. They don't know have abusive, and capricious his system of law is, because as far as they are concerned its either that or law of the jungle.
Exactly. The cult of personality is extremely strong and has been orchestrated very well by the Kim Jong xx's. I think that NK has managed to firmly alter the populations' world view and they know no better. The comparatively slow osmosis via the borders will eventually have an effect, but I reckon that will take many years.

That's the way it is.

It should've been a car analogy.
Compare the Ariel Atom to let's say a Mercedes 600.

Actually, if you read TFA, you can work out that it's PCTOOLS nagging for money and not the reg cleaner which is free.

Yeah, you're probably right. I think I'll take an aspro and lie down for a while.
Then there is this. An excellent piece from Onion News Network about the CIA and Facebook. Funny but true at the same time:
