  1. Re:Nonsense on India Plans To Build Fastest Supercomputer By 2017 · · Score: 1

India may need a huge success to put on their pride chart. Before WWII America was largely agricultural and not a rich or a leading nation. Some of the risks that America took were to engage in WWII and then to send a man to the moon. Both stretched the American budget and the people. We came out better for it. So it may be with both India or China when they attempt such lofty goals. In the process they may bring up the status of the entire nation. However I understand that the cast system is still problematic for India.

    "Tech Companies Swimming in Lawsuits!!!"

turns out to be a survey taken by Fulbright & Jaworski Lawfirm.

I bet they just felt horrible when they figured this out. "Time to stop litigating, we've become TOO successful."

The fact that it was written by a bunch of lawers explains why Olga had such a hard time blogging it.

The fact that her blog made it into slashdot is still a mystery.

Once AMD gets serious they should be able to cut the price in half if not bring it down close to $100. If this happens, I'm thinking affordable education to the masses. And when we get ahold of one of these things and put linux on it then I'll throw down $100 for each of my grand parents and I'll run their systems for them.
