Just another excuse my ISP will make when I call them up to see why my internet is down -- "it's a protest against SOPA." Sounds funny but the chances of this actually happening are not as slim as one would like them to be.
If the attacker was sufficiently motivated, I'm sure he could get someone's mother's maiden name -- not the toughest 'encryption', is it?
After all, we won't want to be living in a world where hackers keep directories of peoples' maiden mother names, would we!
"Without open source, Apple will find itself in the same position as today's Microsoft in seven years."
Of course the only difference would that Apple would actually 'know what they're doing' and have a vision as such. Other than that 'small' detail, I can't think of (m)any rationally run corporations who wouldn't swap their market share for Microsoft's in a heartbeat.

I believe I speak for everyone when I quote a certain Ms. Hilton on this one: "That's hot!"
We gather here today to mourn the tragic death of Common Sense . . .
Electronics stores in Japan have sold out of PlayStation 3 consoles after thousands of gamers queued for hours in the cold to buy them.
I'll wait. Thanks.
With a 10 gb hard drive, it would take absolute light years to restart/turn on the phone.
