    Communism and Capitalism (as idealized by Ayn Rand for e.g) do not exist and have never been tried....because
    human reality is different.
    there is things like protect your family...give preference to people you like compared to some unknown etc etc...

    Practical capitalism or communism go slowly to a few controlling everything...We saw in in Russia/China and we
    see it in Big banks / communication companies etc here.

    Thus conservatives does not want an embryo destroyed which is just a few cells.

    But with cloning a booger with a few living cell in it can be potential to make a new
    individual...thus shall we not destroy any booger or piece of skin ?

    I think conservatives have to decide, why an embryo should not be destroyed or when/which few cells == "potential of living babies"
    or life.

    Really ?...Going away from the desktop environment to the portables/phones....if your argument is right we should not have android being so popular...it is linux mainly with mono-use-case apps

    Or is it simply that no significant hardware distributor was willing to face the ire of MS to promote linux on its machines.

    has unlocked billions of tonnes of carbon that was underground into the atmosphere as CO2 over the last few hundred years.

    Now only the extreme optimists would think that this has no effect on the planet (all scientific modelling shows signifcant effect to air and sea currents and their stability)...now all the models that people have used could be wrong and you are right.

    it might be countered a bit by the sun cooling off (lucky us)...there is very little probability that the planet would be behaving climatically like it is today without us.

    Yes i heard from very good sources (on the internet) that the smart grid will be able to switch off your tv...change the channel to one which is less loud thus less energy used (usually the one with the president talking all the time), perform abortion to keep the population low etc thus less energy consumption .....oh what else did i hear or read on the net ?

    I have an Adam Pixel Qi too and i love it for its uniqueness. Its readability allows me sit outside more and read or browse or even watch something . And if you want to watch a movie inside that is possible too ...try that on an e-ink reader (though it is not as vivid/high contrast as lcd screens out there).

    That is what you get a versatile screen rather than just an indoor screen or a low fps screen.

    It is like buying a hybrid car ...you know what you getting into...it is not a bicycle nor a muscle car but in between.

    A bit disengenuous about ease ...your bank/credit card will typically authenticate you by asking for your zip code, address, and your SSN#

    Do you want to give google all this info ?

    If yes then i agree with you ...if no then a bank and a email provider should not be considered as the same kind of beast

    This is an unfair comparison ..there is not much you can do with a cell phone connectivity apart from talking
    where as a knife is used in other situations that saving and removing life. E.g making salsa etc
