You should read the article. No really. Because they mention exactly this. That it's not just a matter of eliminating salt, it is absolutely required, but that we tend to eat too much. Heck here's a copy / paste for you:
To stay healthy, the human body relies on a careful balance: too little immune function and we succumb to infection, too much activity and the immune system begins to attack healthy tissue, a condition known as autoimmunity. Some forms of autoimmunity have been linked to overproduction of TH17 cells, a type of helper T cell that produces an inflammatory protein called interleukin-17.
Retarded means extra late, from re - a prefix meaning extra and tard meaning late. So if someone has retarded development it is to say that their development is extra late. Source: speaking a couple of romance languages.
As an adult I would appreciate the extra character development in a longer movie, but that is not what is happening. Longer movies just mean longer, pointless action sequences. And it all gets so tedious.
The problem with PJ and action is that he uses so much that the original carefully placed action sequences in the source material (thinking Tolkien and Herge here) are swamped by meaningless action, which means that there is no build up and release of tension. You become disconnected from the story and your mind starts to wander. Then you realise you're in a cinema and it starts to get boring.
I call that the "Peter Jackson" effect. It was the same story for LOTR, Tintin, and well anything he's done since well for ever. He cuts out important narrative and adds pointless action sequences that only serve to reduce the impact and tension of the important action sequences.
I just popped a new hard drive in a 6 year old imac (replacement for one that broke) which is still someone's daily business machine and it's still running fine. That's the good part of starting off with systems with pretty decent specs.
>Also, assuming that you are American (you may not be, of course, but changes are good), remember Afganistan? There is still a war raging there, plus at least 5 >other countries are being bombed on regular basis. All that in response to an 11+ year old event (if a major one). You wanna talk about "proportional response"?
This argument is a logical fallacy know as the ad hominem attack. A statement is true or false on its own merits regardless of who is doing the stating.
In other words, the Golden Era of Reddit where there was supposedly more intelectual discussions, content and the lack to rage comics and cat pictures was all fake? Now that Reddit has actual users it's just a shit as 4chan?
Which is kind of the point of the UN after all, to prevent major powers going to war ever again.
Thanks for that, my head was starting to spin, and no matter how many times I checked the score was never marked "funny".
The exact opposite of how Rolls Royce used to design cars - test to destruction, make the part that failed stronger and repeat.

Besides, that is what God created conversion programs for.
God crashed a multi-billion dollar research craft into Mars?
Well if God created everything then I guess he did.

Yeah but if Peter Jackson's films had intermissions people wouldn't come back after the break.

. I think Peter Jackson is turning into George Lucas... .
Turning into? They've been twins since the beginning.
To be fair, the much longer and more sophisticated "Lord of the Rings" has exactly this fault also.

my experience shows also that minute-for-minute they feel longer.
That feeling... it's called boredom. Movies are getting longer, and editing looks like a lost art.
For all intensive purposes, "whom" is no longer a word. That begs the question, "who cares"?
I think your signature is brilliant, I tip my hat to you ;-)

The point of the exercise is to replace the no longer needed flight software with software it can use to better perform it's tasks while on Mars.

Wouldn't it be funny if after all these years Microsoft adopted Apple's business model?
"Waiter, my soup has a ..."
Apple considers their range if laptops and desktops to be PCs so...
I hope this isn't a rhetorical set of questions...
You only experience Gs during acceleration. Once you reach 4000km/hr and maintain the speed you will feel as though you weren't moving at all.
I went to find the six pack in my fridge but there wasn't one. You shouldn't play with people like that. I really wanted a beer too...
