is specific tax paying procedures. There are 147 different taxes which company should pay, and each own have specific payment rules, which
only qualified, experienced in years bookkeepers know. From those 147, a lot of taxes are not clearly stated, which makes it possible for tax officials
to be in winning position in either way you calclculate it - it will always be wrong (util you pay a bribe).
With a 'simple tax' you had to pay fixed rate tax, and that was all. Paying 147 different kinds of taxes plus paying the job of experienced bookkeeper
is very difficult.
For example, to work as outsourcer, for any thing you do, a paper contract with wet prints and owner signs must be signed and mailer prior to
even being able to obtain payment. If contract is not present, money are not depisited in the company account.
Also, the totals of paid taxes will end up around 67%. And remember, we have nothing in return : medicine, houses, etc are things which you still pay for from own pocket.
I've been running IceWM, Opera, Pine as mail browser on a machine with 64Mb RAM, P133 and it worked well, at least I've been able to read mails, browse web. CenterICQ was a IM client
Linux is great if you are just browsing net. But it is not enough for a typical business needs here. As soon as you start doing real business, you have to buy Windows, because: (a) all banks I've worked with so far only provide Windows based software to access accounts (b) many people require to send them documents in formats like MS Excel 95, which are only partly supported by OpenOffice. (c) There are a lot of custom software which companies use, tend to be Windows-only (like local accounting suites). So, in fact, until Linux is recognized as a platform, it would not be possible to fully use it in business.

Someone who gets $30/hr in India will be equivalent experience person to someone in U.S. getting $300/Hr. So, I do not think that direct comparision works here

For some products, thats right. For some, outsourcing is not time consuming. As any methodology, outsorcing should be used with care.
