I'm not to serious into the Firefox vs. IE vs Opera debate. What i do know is i like tabs (in browsing, in chats, etc) and I like firefox because of the fact that when going to sites with code that installs USUALLY you get a nice popup saying "Do you want to save or open this file". When you are playing with Acess, MS project server, Slashdot etc, you don't alway have the attention to make sure you pages aren't installing programs for you.
In my opinion the great test will be if this new version doesn't crash so often when i Use it to view MS project using IE tabs.
The difference is the Pahalanx system does unleash an insane amout of flak at the incoming threats. This system doesn't need to do that to achieve a kill, it fires once and destroys the threat. This makes it a much more efficient defensive device for tanks and bradleys, where you don't have the space for the ammo, and the platforma for the many many guns needed to protect a ship.
Not really, my mom uses Front page to do her website for school. To be honest, this IS more for me. I don't classify myself as one of the elite uber geeks, who can code a webpage in perl while debuggin a SQL server and have time to post snarky remarks on/. at the same time. I HATE coding webpages. I can't think of a more boring exercise in the world. Why do you think there are so many poorly designed ones? People stop learing how to do. Its just a whole lot easier for me to post my 100 MB of internet trash to web when all the hard design work is done for me. I can post some pics, make some jokes that are funny to me and my friends, and still have time to go out and have a life that doesn't revolve around the glow of my laptop monitor.
Elitist ruin every application regardless of what its for. When did the web bcome a place where on the instructed and capable can play. Why shouldn't anyone with a computer and internet connect be allowed to have thier own special little place to play, celebrate their own life and enjoy making webpage? Do you truly think that thier 100 MBs of usage and 1 - 2 view per month is really going to affect the upload bandwidth of your cable modem causing that critical sword strike you launched at lord Razak to fall wrong ruining the last 6 months of your life? Get off your internet high horse and let people enjoy it.
Since i am not going to drop names of other companies...I thought this name sounded familiar...I looked back at some of my older computers and realized that this company is one of the resellers of the old company i worked for. It was located in NJ (45 min from Brooklynn) and incidently enough the two owners where very good friends.... MY company was full of shady practices, charging customers almost as much for a replacement part as is cost for the first one. Offering warranties on items that no longer existed. Selling sub quality accessories then charging the customer more to have it replaced with more crap. It was a terrible experience. It just seems that there is a connection between these two companies....that seems to be more than just a coincidence
