Yep, I just finished it as well. You're right; it does seem geared towards those who are motivated by organization, already organized, and want a better option.
Is it just me, or is anyone else annoyed by IBM's seemingly endless marketing campaign that aims to be more "IT hip" with each commercial? I think IBM tries to play to this rising coolness with the computing industry (if there is one) by trying to be hip, but it just comes off as contrived and weak to me. annoying.
If you read the article you cited, he is compensated in MANY other ways. I used "salary" loosely (I was not even taking into account his stock options as well).

For as "small" as Apple is portrayed, their CEO, at the very least, is visible to the public, which is more than I can say for many of tech companies larger than Apple (or any corporation for that matter). At least we know a CEO that actually does something (in the eyes of the public) that justifies a high salary.
Like Coach Bowden of the Seminoles, just his image and persona alone is more valuable than all of his other qualities.
Overall, if there were an ESPN2K6 I'd probably buy it instead but I'm certainly not crying myself to sleep over Madden 2006. They paid the NFL a LOT of money to be the only game in town. They're not going to rest too softly on their laurels or they'll be out of business.
See, I disagree with this. Had there been a NFL2k this year, there is no way there would be missing features, (stuff in previous gen madden 06) and possibly they would have stuff AT LEAST that was in 2k4 and 2k5 (gang tackling where there is more than one animation, interactive non pinball running, online leagues, etc etc etc.).

8.0 for Madden360 is seriously an abomination for a game with ZERO competition. As an avid 2k gamer since 1999 on Dreamcast, I am appalled at a second game in just a few months times that has disappointed the gaming public.
EA is resting on their laurels and doing exactly what a MONOPOLY would do to improve their product...next to nothing. If you are a football gamer who feels like I do (the mainstream gaming press like IGN and Gamespot have no intention of serving the interest of gamers) please make your voice heard about what should be done about having only one choice for a football game. My blog is pretty much dedicated to letting fellow gamer's voices be heard about EA and their football monopoly. http://monopolion.blogspot.com/

But, I don't see any ads on any Google News pages.....So how is it Google is exploiting these papers for financial gain? -Santoro
