I don't mean to sound like I'm trolling with FUD, but knowing how secure WiFi is, can't this be a privacy issue? For example, couldn't one access data on your SD card by WiFi?
The sun? Pac-man? No seriously, I haven't got a clue.
I'm starting to think that my example question was a counter-example since obviously a computer program with the help of Google could have answered to this question a lot more easily than people with access to Google;-)
Instead of asking use to recognize visual things, why not use sentences, like questions, to which only humans could correctly reply, like, for example, What's yellow and dangerous?
Seriously, only limiting captchas to recognizing something in an image makes it pretty limited, they might wanna try asking questions to the user, if they haven't tried that yet.
Oh! So that's what happened to you! I wished you were still around back when I was trying to work some stuff out with fixed point arithmetic. Anyways, why don't you buy another GP2X? You were a valuable community member and anyways if you participate to such contests you could consider that an investment;-). Plus the price has dropped, I believe.
In order to be more politically correct? What on Earth are you talking about? Anyways, muslims during the crusades killed a hell of a lot of christians, I don't see what we're rewriting there.
In other words, killing muslims (in a video game) = fine, killing christians = bad. I always knew a lot of americans didn't really value the lives of muslims, maybe I'm only seeing what I wanna see but I think your comment perfectly illustrates this.
The "friendly appearance" of the robot is designed to put the wounded at ease.
A friendly bear appearance, to put a soldier at ease? Is it a fucking joke? A "teddy bear face designed to be reassuring", for soldiers who are trained into dehumanizing their target to shoot more of them? The same kind of soldiers as in Apocalypse Now or Full Metal Jacket? They wanna see a robotic teddy bear face when they're wounded? WTF?
Reminds me of that documentary about the war in Iraq I saw on M6 (a french television channel), at some point you saw a military hospital in which a teddy bear was systematically handed to wounded soldiers, which made the presenter comment, "America, it's also that."
Apparently June is national 'Internet is Dangerous' month.
Let me be the (probably not) first one to suggest we call it 'Think of the Children' month.
On a second thought, maybe we should have a 'Don't think of the Children' month to change from the think-of-the-children-ness we get every day of the year.
On a third thought, we should rather have a 'Think of the Heart Health' month, I mean it.
Without France, its hards for US defeat Hitler, and France is a leads computer industry [...]
Lord have mercy! Please tell me you're just making fun of us. Maybe it should sound obvious whether or not you're being serious, but knowing how some fellow frenchmen can sound once they try to speak english, everything's possible..
Can everybody who replied to this comment by saying that the USA are not really a democracy or some hippie crap of the kind can go fuck their own selves please? It's a democracy, even if it's a challenged one (and not an isolated case at this). If it wasn't, then what is Nancy Polosky (sp?) doing there?
Hasn't it been found that, due to the weakness of the signals, and the usual distance of the emitter to your head, you catch about one million times less microwaves with your brain than with cell phones? And that cell phones do not cause cancer?
But their causal inseparability makes it only one data point.
Oh god, STFU. Damn non-climatologists challenging scientifical claims, claiming some shit isn't reliable because "it takes single data points" when it really is.. go to wikipedia and shut the fuck up.

Hmmm, nobody in the office knew it and most have a PhD here..... Is it because we are british? Someone suggested a poisonous banana.
Good Lord! Let the frenchman that I am tell you about an element of your own culture every Briton should be expected to know about

That was a mere british cultural reference, even a joke actually. The answer was "A shark-infested custard" :-)

Actually I heard there were scripts to get the first post, and that it's how some first post trolls like goatse or GNAA trolls do it.
Oh, well, I wouldn't hold my breath for a MK3. Knowing GPH, if it ever comes it won't be before a year.

Same goes for Muslim, but yet you focused on the word American. Interesting.. I wonder what nationality you could possibly be..

And I've heard the same about astronauts. Intriguing..

He compares the access restriction technology with underwear gnomes
Step 1 : Make an underpants gnomes reference
Step 2 : ???
Step 3 : Hilarity

"Where they have burned books, they will end in burning human beings."
Thought about that at first too, and then realized this story was nothing but some anodine attention whoring.

Who does it surprise?
In other news, the sky is still blue, and all the leaves are still green..
Well, I don't know if it's pertinent, but LinuxZoo can be helpful when you wanna learn..
As I understood it, it wasn't the head coming off the problem, it was the body being loose instead of stuck, making it hard to put in the bag.
Anyways, that story was creepy.
