    there is no license agreement required to purchase the chips.
    you are legally allowed to use the software on them on another medium as covered by fair use.

    you can purchase legit arcade ROM boards or chips at these sites:
    have to sell body parts to afford
    decent prices
    on ebay <-- sometimes super deals! however, if super cheap and it's a chinese seller, it's pirated. (sad but true)

    after purchasing them, you will either need to dump the chips or download them predumped from the net. it's not piracy if you own the chips. it's going to cost you a boat load of money, so you have been warned.

    if you buy just the ROM (not on chips) from someone then it's guaranteed pirated.

    but seriously, LRN2GOOGLE!

    The original deal with Netflix and Starz was negotiated for $30 million a year four years ago. Now with a new deal between Netflix and Starz analysts would expect it to cost around $200-300 million.

    10 times the cost from previously?! doubling the cost would be a bit much but 10 times the previous amount?! saying you will go as low as seven time the previous amount is really shitty negotiation tactics. i'm glad Netflix turned them down because this level of greed is INSANE.

    The Guardian could be in some hot water soon. If these alligations are true then this is a clear case of illegal conduct.

    You can say Wikileaks is breaking the law in what they do but their conduct is another matter and should be treated as such. It is not legal to have unauthorized access to a computer system of alleged criminals (unless you are the CIA/FBI/NSA/DHS/DOD/Spanish Inquisition).

    Our goal is to give us better tools for desktop app development, give our KDE mobile projects a leg up and make KDE's libraries something that Qt developers can and will use.

    i'm aware that KDE's API is based on Qt but it has some big differences. including/assisting Qt people will add a large sum of people to the KDE development platform.

    KDE is looking better for dev'rs but the desktop itself is not friendly enough for me right now and it doesnt help that ease of use for lay people isnt a focus.
