Seriously, are you using IE or something? Yeesh...
You think the ad is browser specific? You really are dumb.
Of course, in this case, you just jumped to an incorrect conclusion.
And proving again that you are dumb, the original poster corrected himself/herself within a minute of the original post. You see that one modded +5? Yeah, that one... idiot.
Thanks. Now I remember why I (a few 5-star comments) have quit posting here. Too many dysfunctional assholes here to rip into you.
Oh shit, why do I bother? Anyhow, here's your explanation, anonymous pile of feces: You can't get AB+(or any ad blocker the last time I checked) for IE, so yes, the ad, in this case, IS browser-specific.
Now, you may return to pulling wings off of flies and spying on your sister in the bathroom...
I'm on Kubuntu, running Firefox with AB+. I have no clue what annoying question you're talking about.
Re "they feel the need to try to profit of it. Utter douchebags", that's the way the interwebs works without putting a quarter in first, Charlie. Site traffic = $$$, and I don't have a problem with that. Stealing content is one thing, posting an article with links to the original is good for everyone. Of course, in this case, you just jumped to an incorrect conclusion.

Well, I'm stupid, and a liar, so THERE!
My taxes are up about 10% with no discernible rise in income. Seeing's how Obama supporters blame everything from global warming to increased solar flares on Bush, I ask your indulgence in blaming my recent increased tax burden on your own pride and joy in power in the White House during this time period.
My taxes have shot up (seeing how I'm now wealthy), I'm feeling some pain myself.
I was barely making ends meet before it was decided that I should be doing more with my spare funds, being the despicable rich aristocrat that i am.;-)
I think this is a hell of a lot more disturbing than some flamboyant dude who was testing the waters to see just what he could get away with. My own two cents' worth, let the roasting begin...
I thought KDE4 was a horrible mistake a couple of years ago. But now, it's my desktop of choice. Admittedly, it's the least objectionable of bunch, IMHO.
I thank you. All of the dumbassed liberal vs. republican sanctimonious nonsense (extremely evident in this very discussion) wiped out with a simple animated chart from an impartial source. You have done what Al Gore and Michael Moore (speaking of a pair of sanctimonious assholes) have failed to do: convince me that there is hard evidence of greenhouse gases increasing in recent times.
...that Mr. Hansen has hard evidence that actual percentages of CO2, methane, and other greenhouse gases have increased in the atmosphere? I'm not talking about cojncidentally matching the industrial revolution, I'm talking about hard evidence of percentages of these gases in the atmosphere say, 50 years ago compared to today. Because in all of the hyperbole, yelling, threatening, and name calling, I have yet to see those figures. That is what it would take to convince this particular individual that rising atmospheric temperatures are related to greenhouse gases.
Please, no accusations of being a right-wing nut. I just don't jump on any bandwagons until I'm sure of the facts.
I'm no gamer, but it was Dreamweaver and paint Shop pro that kept me with Windows. I've been running Linux full-time on the desktop since 2008, with XP running virtually as I needed it.
I've finally gotten comfortable with Gimp and Eclipse. I still fire up the XP machine for Dreamweaver's GUI and SQLYog. But I'll be fully Linuxised by the time XP loses its support.
Bott either owns a million shares of MS stock, or else he has a gay relationship with Steve Ballmer.
He has never, ever, ever written anything the least critical of this most criticizable company.

Their future will resemble that of IBM, Novell, HP, Sears, and many other companies that were once #1 in their specialty. Still making money, still active in the market, occasionally coming up with something truly revolutionary.
But one thing's for damned certain: their days of dominance are over. OVER! YES!!!!!!!!!

Fact: I'm paying 10% more (roughly) in income taxes now than i was three years ago, with no rise in income. President's fault!
That is the standard you've set, right? The President's in office, stuff like higher taxes are his fault?
What an asshole art thou. :-)
Thanks for straightening me out, Comrade. I hope I'm helping you subsidize your lifestyle.
My taxes have shot up (seeing how I'm now wealthy), I'm feeling some pain myself. I was barely making ends meet before it was decided that I should be doing more with my spare funds, being the despicable rich aristocrat that i am. ;-)
My words exactly. Probably pissed over getting in trouble yelling "Fire!" in theaters as a kid...
I'm white, and according to Obama, I'm rich (roughly $65k salary). Delta sucks for us privileged few too.
I think this is a hell of a lot more disturbing than some flamboyant dude who was testing the waters to see just what he could get away with. My own two cents' worth, let the roasting begin...
Are you suggesting that we all be responsible for our own actions???
Methinks he uses the word "racist" too much.
The reason is obvious: Microsoft wants these Nokia patents in the hands of patent trolls to cause trouble.
Steve BLAMMER: All of the evil deviousness of Bill gates, but without the brains. ;-)

Thank you again. :-)

It wouldn't take long for a bundle of twigs to burn in hell...
See Lance Ito.
Republican congressmen? Then obviously the /. crowd will hate it. @_o
And the sarcasm went (whoosh)
That wasn't an option the last time I checked. No paid ad-free Angry Birds. :-(
If they would make Angry Birds move that damned ad out of the way, I'd be able to stop disconnecting from the network before playing.
