    I agree that "If you feel the need to control what your kid eats in high school through a system like this, you've allready failed as a parent." is entirely wrong but by high school students should have some control,at least, and some maturity to use that control.
    Also while "If you let your children eat junk food for lunch, you've allready [sic] failed as a parent" is also wrong it is foolish to believe that if a parent allows their child to eat junk food and never educates their child their child will probably make bad choices later on.

    if they spend the time they have(quality) instead of only giving gifts(quantity) kids will respect their parents much more

    Not everyone has the time or the skills to do that though. For people who do have the skills it's rather useless especially if it prevents you from downloading things you want to download

    Microsoft is more restrictive with betas while Goolge is more open Gmail and web acclerator are exceptions(or were). Thats one positive to google for those who like the cutting-edge

    I think the government needs to train those that apply patents to be more discriminating so less general patents are approved. Perhaps they should set up a more advanced sytem of applying patents with more people approving it then before so if one person makes a mistake and applies a terrible patent consumers don't suffer the consequences
