All the add=ons developed by the Mozilla community are what make Firefox great. As long as the ability to add to the browser never goes away, t doesn't matter what Google does or ddoesn't do.
The construct that causes all of this trouble can be seen here [google.com] (along with some Google wierdness in the construction of the image).
I looked this morning and there was barely any traffic! I think you're exaggerating.
I do believe that's what he was talking about, he looked at the satellite map that morning.
ummm... can anyone say keylogger.
Kinda overkill though, i would hope that you could trust your kids enough not to have to read their private messages.
My sister uses myspace, and althoug my parents are alway around when she's using it, they don't see everything she does. Sure, she COULD be talking to pedos, but she's not gonna be able to meet them, even if she thinks they're some girl. My parents would never let her just go somewhere, and if she's going over a freinds house, you bet they're gonna make sure they meet the parent's, even if it's only for a minute when they pick her up.
I'm more worried about some of the teenage boys who talk to her on MySpace. I have an account just so i can keep track of what creep is talking to her.
I will certainly leave my digital pictures. I would say software, but that would be obsolete by then.
I would like to think I'll have a little AsherMaximum jr. to give my gmail account to, but who know if he'd even want it.
Of course if a got a family name domain (right now i just have AsherMaximum.com, later i migh get a.name with my last name), i would pass that on.
There isn't really that many peopl who are old enough to be thinking about a will (we'll, lots are old ebough, but most aren't!), not many people who die and have this kind of stuff have a will. As this generation ages, i bet we'll see more of digital inheritance.
There's no need to worry about this if you don't use itunes! Just get CD's. iTunes hype is that you can get "just one song". well, i've NEVER heard a song that i wanted just that song and not the whole album. No matter what happens to the CD format, there will always be some form of hardcopy, cd or better quality audio. And as far as getting our old music in later years? Well, all those people who have good cassettes shouldn't have a problem converting them into whatever format they want. Yeah, it's alittle harder that Cds, but the point is, when we're 80 years old, or when our grandkids find our old CD collection, they will have a way of playing it and putting it on whatever device they use, no matter what the current method or media of buying an album is. I'm not azgainst iTunes (i love the software actually), but i like to have an original hardcopy of any music i buy. Even if i only put it in py cd drive once to rip it, i still want it that way.
I'm not to up in the China issue. Are you saying that if Google didn't filter search results in China the Chinese government would block Google? If theat's th case, Google DID do what's best for the viewer of the site. It just happened to help the stockholders too.
I did the same thing when I saw the twitter post. I though Slashdot was having an Onion News moment or something!

Google satellite maps are not live! They were taken as long as 4 years ago!

II'm not a big fan of the Mac, but i do love the way apple products are designed if apple took over palm, Palms would be better than ever i think!

You still can watch widescreen movies on it. And with the upcoming HD movies, it still might be a good idea to get one
