I haven't entirely thought this idea through, but I'm not aware of anyone having attempted such a thing.
Hmm, well, I've been in touch with a company in the Netherlands, http://www.nedsecure.nl/ who offer pretty much what you're suggesting.
Transparant email encryption through a webserver/webmailportal. So you can send encrypted messages to your clients, they get a notification mail, and can check the mail you sent online. Bit cumbersome perhaps, but well, technology probably improved from back in nov-2005 that I saw these guys at some InfoSecurity convention.
Unfortunately, the site seems to be dutch only, but dutch ain't too different from english, with some imagination;)
The "on-the-fly" formatting where I can see the changes by mousing over fonts and styles in word is wonderful. My documents are better because of it.
Hmm, well, this will cost me my karma, but ehmz, I use LaTeX and all my documents look exactly how I want them to look..... if it doesn't look good, I know I have goofed up some formatting command. Good luck with Word trying to figure out why the styles have changed all of a sudden..
Did they fix that horrendous page numbering system? I haven't seen any improvements in that department going in between the versions of Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003 Pro....... it's still hellish to fix sections and pagenumberings the way you want it in Word.
Have you taken a look at http://www.verbix.com/ ? Pretty nice program, with loads of languages. Input verb, output any possible conjugation form. Heck, I use the online conjugator all the time when I'm trying my best at the Finnish language.
The site appears to be down... is Slashdot evolving into a DDOS trigger?
you must be new here
