I agree with that.
Unfortunately in a lot of cases it will be the blind leading the blind. These are the same people who have things like credit card information on the computers. How many of us have that call from a family member panicking because the think they have had everything stolen from their "drive thingy".
Education is the key here. Not just for the kids; but for the parents as well.
Well my old Byetstor 256MB has been through the wash several times (somewhere between 8 and 10 according to my wife) and is still going. Try doing that with a conventional HDD.
