i was getting the 53010 error at first. after trying a few things, it seems like what fixed it was resetting the router (power on/off). after that, i was able to connect (although it could have been a coincidence)
not in front of my router now, but if i remember, on my linksys router (wrt54gs) the IP is 192.168.1.1 and for defaults, the id is blank and the password was admin.. could be wrong though, too lazy to check on the linksys site
Well, which of the adds from the left are factually inaccurate? the swift boat ads are not factually accurate. for example, the one guy who said that he treated kerry... there is no evidence of him, and in fact, there are documents showing the signature of the dr. who treated kerry... also, how many of them shared w/ kerry? not in vietnam at the same time, but actually with him? those ads are just wrong. the moveon.org ads, although anti-bush, are truthfull (as far as i know). if i'm wrong, lemme know...
triggers are overrated in some cases, but can be a great help in others... for example, we have triggers on a couple of tables, so when there are updates, the changes and the user/timstamp who did the update are written to an audit table. makes for a nice, simple way to automate auditing
yes, you should be held responsible if someone steals your gun and kills someone, unless you have if locked up in a safe, with the ammo in a separate safe. guns are VERY different from cars or planes, or almost anything else.. the ONLY point of a gun is to kill (or play duckhunt). you have to be more responsible when you buy a gun than you do with a car. yes, a car can kill someone, but the purpose of a car is not to kill. you could kill someone with an old spoon if you want. you have to look at prupose and intent.
I agree, don't need to teach installs at first... when i first started using computers (asside from my parents old mac for aol/mac write) when i got to college, i bought a nice new dell running win95. i did not care how to install it, or really how to use it... after a while, when i saw some of what it could do, and got interested, then i took the next step, and did a hard drive reformat/reinstall of windows, and later on, redhat (version 4 i think it was). if dell shipped my a blank oem drive, a linux (or windows for that matter) cd and a manual, i would never have used it, and gone to a friends house instead. so, long story short, better to show them what the OS can do and how to do it, and when they want to learn more, then installing shoud be a breeze.
Yes, it will cost time/money for your IT guy to find the problem. But.... once he finds it and compiles, he can (usually) distribute it out to the whole company w/o incurring a $50 licence fee per box.
